You do not have to be eating pnuts or pb, there are things like protein powders and other items that you may not realize are contaminated.

there's some sort of nut in just about anything that is manufactured. Im not worried about myself, i can be cured, my 2 year old would die!!! thats why im worried about. Luckily i buy in huge bulk and have nice safe old peanut butter for him to eat, but i still eat everything days before first to make sure its ok before i give it to him.
