Hidden Dangers
If a gene for producing EPO cannot be shut off properly, the blood will begin to thicken with excessive red blood cells and that could cause strokes and heart attacks.
If the gene for human growth hormone is not regulated, muscles might grow until they outstripped the blood supply or overwhelmed tendons and ligaments. Misuse could also lead to heart and thyroid disease and cause the size of someone's head, jaw, hands and feet to increase dramatically. I found this on WEB MD. Just something to think about.
