Default Baldness from supplements?

Is it possible that supplements like Hydroxycut, Xenadrine or Ripped Fuel can cause baldness? Also are there any long term effects from them that could have a negative effect on your heart?

Hey there. I don't think those supplements cause baldness. Baldness comes from two things: 1) a surplus of testosterone in your body and 2) your genes. So, Steroids could contribute to hair loss, but not fat burning supplements.

Baldness can also come from other things, like vitamin deficiency, which can be caused by some supplements. But it differs from person-to-person.

The supplements you mentioned have an effect on the circulatory system. I would watch out using those supplements on the long run.

Male pattern baldness has most of its origins in geneticaly inherited patterns
DHT (diihydrotesterone) is a male hormone. As one ages the hair follicles become more sensitive to the hormone and shut down their growth phase.
Many hair restoration products claim to block the effect of dht on the hair follicle.
