For those who order online
What are some good sites to order from?
Who good service, selection, and prices?
Or do most of you use several different sites depending on the types of supplements you're ordering?
I'm on a military base, which I can get some items such as the shakes. But for most other things, I'm either venturing out into the town to hunt for a store or ordering online--and since I moved to england, I know that shipping costs are going to be less than what I'm going to get on this economy!

I only use BCAA's and protein powders, all of which I either get from amazon.com, bodybuilding.com, or t-nation.com. All of them have worked well.

I order from:
My Protein (Bulk whey non-branded, bcaa, etc ...)
Bulk Powders (also bulk/non-branded)
and if you absolutely must buy branded stuff, this is as good a place as any to buy in the UK:
Cheap UK Supplements
All thse are free shipping to the UK. Price compared to US are prohibitive, but if you 'can' get UPS Express, it's ~ $50 for a few pounds weight, and bb.com goes as high as $150 for 2x10lbs bags of Whey Gold via Fedex. Add to this Excise and Duty ... (oh yeah, you didn't know about that one ) unless you get the shit sent by relatives in the US labelled as 'Gift'.

Hmm, those prices even without shipping seem to be higher than what I've paid to get the same products shipped from the US
Thanks for the links though, I will browse them.
I've never seen the non-branded stuff before. I got a whole new thing to explore now

Shipping rates should be the same if you're using APO address. Don't know about duty/excise/VAT, but those have probably been addressed by treaty, so I'd guess that they don't apply (assuming you're in the US military).
Curious to find out the answer - seems like something that's probably come up before, but I don't recall reading about it.

Well, if ordering from a US site, I don't pay any duty/excise/VAT. It's sent to a US address and forwarded to me. If ordering from a UK site to my APO address, I'd pay VAT and huge shipping..., if ordering from a UK site to my UK address, I'd pay VAT.

Hi there, I am one of Linda's March Challenge members, I order all my protein from True Protein | High Quality Nutrition and Protein Supplements. They have lots of selection and great prices. They are able to keep there prices down by using this motto "No Fancy Labels, No Gimmicks, No BS". Customer service is great, and if they make a mistake, they fix it fast!! Orders are packaged in heavy duty plastic bags, if you need a jug, it cost a little extra but labels are simple black and white. No fancy labels, no fancy advertising = lower prices. All new sales are created by world of mouth (internet/forums) and loyal customers are rewarded. If you use discount code TYN668 you will save 5% off all orders and I will receive a percentage of free protein for new sales generated under my code. The code actually belongs to my late boyfriend who passed away from a brain aneurysm last month. We had worked as a team, I made up flyers and talked to local gyms and schools and he was there to help anyone with questions regarding what to take/when and custom mixes. The web sit has a forum where you will find lots of helpful members willing to help you out (all with their own discount codes) or you can do a search for posts by ShelfLife. If one of them help you out and you would like to use their code, you are free to do so but.... please keep in mind that you would be helping me to reach my goal of competing (I was told in 2001 after a car accident that I would probably never walk again, 2 back surgeries later and some intensive physio, not only am I walking, I am back in the gym training hard (Thanks to Linda :x). As a single mom of two teenage boys, both who play football and weight train, I would not be able to afford to continue my training without the support of trueprotein and new clients using my discount code. Check it out
My partner Troy aka ShelfLife also helped to create the following site before he passed away, Index - GymWiki
True Protein | High Quality Nutrition and Protein Supplements
Discount Code TYN668
