Female cutting supplements

Hey all!

Thought I might ask some pros on the site what they think. I have really never taken any supplements other than fish oil and multi vitamints etc. Kinda afraid to take anything not natural, I have no intake of caffeine at all, I'm really a very good eater. But I am working on really really getting lean and building muscular tone, working on abs etc.

I keep reading how great the new hydroxycut is, wondering whether its worth an investment. Wanted to get L-Carnitine (heard it tastes foul!), and a few other supplements, but want to gain more knowledge and have 2nd opinions on it.

Please, any suggestions or help would be really greatly appreciated.

Well a few years ago, I have used and tried Hydroxycut Hardcore in conjuntion with R-ALA (Glurcorell-R) and have dropped my BF percentage substantially. I haven't used the new Hydroxycut, but if it is like the original one that made me very jittery. But again, this is with a clean diet, cardio, and weight lifting. You will definitely see results.

I noticed you said that you don't consume caffeine. With any fat burner you will be consuming some sort of caffeine.

I like an ECA stack, but since you haven't tried supplements before, I probably wouldn't suggest it right now, since you might feel sick/ jittery.

If you are interested in R-ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) here is some information on it, and Bisons had a good post about this stuff as well.

I seem to can't find his post, but here is a thread with some links. It is in the anabolic forum, but R-ALA, for me I didn't see any side effects just like taking a multi vitamin 15 mins before food. Think about eating carbs without them being stored as fat!

Also if you do decide to get Hydroxycut or any fat burner start off with the minimal dosage so you can assess your bodies reaction to it, don't start off with the full dosage, as you might get sick. Also try and increase your water intake if you think about getting a fat burner, water is very necessary.

hydroxycut is basically a eca stack after adding caffeine and aspirin. ive tried it several times and had good results with it. actually ive been using it after my cycles over and cracking down hard on the diet and cardio.

I might just be stupid, but is ephedrine legal in the US? So if it is, you have to get the "E" in ECA from another country, right?

Actually I had posted this one, but Bisons had one on mainly Alpha-Lipoic Acid and Acetyl-L-Carnitine. But it appears the link doesn't work no more.

Also if you decide that you don't want to use a fat burner other suggestions might be the use of some more "natural" products:
1. Green Tea Extract
2. Apple Cider Vinegar

Just to name a few.

Hey all, thankyou SOOO much for all of your help and suggestions, it helps a lot. Yeah I am very keen on natural training and eating, so I really never even touch caffeine, but I want to see results so bad lately I been training my ass off, and I want to be in prime shape. I've been doing lots of studying and research, predominantly on wikipedia, and to be honest I'm quite confused as to why there is so much stigma about supplements such as hydroxycut, etc, when all they have in them is amino acids etc, things that are naturally derived in the body, or are meant to enhance performance...I may be severely wrong though coz u guys know more about it...How do you guys get your hands on ephedrine anyhow, I thought it was only used in hopitals to revive people with heart problems? It sounds quite intense.

I might give hydroxycut a go. I will visit my local GNC I think...have a discussion with them...THANKS GUYS!

No worries. Wildstang's post about Hydroxycut is correct, the original and new Hydroxycut is basically an ECA stack. However, the Hydroxycut Hardcore doesn't have the Ephedrine inside, and that is what I used, and saw some results as well.

If you want to buy some Ephedrine HCL check out your local Health Store, some of them sell them as Nasal Decongestants. I am not familiar with the regulations in Australia though. Most supplements do have ingredients inside that the body natually produces, but they up the dosage to see results based upon what an individual wants to obtain.

I think you're talking about epinephrine (adrenaline). Now that would be intense!

Yes toonces is correct. Ephedrine is different from Epinephrine. Ephedrine/ Ephedra is in an ECA stack or "hydroxycut" or some fat burners, while Epinephrine is used for cardiac arrests/ heart attacks.

So just to update y'all, indeed ephedrine IS illegal in Aussieland.

I found something that might help me such as this, what do u think: RAVE, SYN-TEC, ENDURANCE, SYN-TEC, SYN-TEC RAVE, SYN-TEC SYN-TEC

There are so many products out there, it's quite confusing!
