Supplement Sponsorship
Well, I know this might seem of topic but lately I have been seeing a lot of guys asking to be sponsored or should i say "looking" to be sponsored by supplement companies. Then, I got to thinking, I am going to be surrounded by supplements, exercise, gyms, and athletes for the rest of my life, as I plan to make it my life. At the moment I am 18 and about to entire college. My main question was, how do you come by getting a sponsorship or contacting a company?

I'm note quite sure, but you probably have to achieve something notable.
You have to be able to offer the supplement company something as well, they are not just looking to give free shit away.
Big name guys like coleman and cutler get free supplements because if they appear on a magazine holding a jar of whey protein theres tons of morons out there who think "Oh, if I take that whey protein I'll be just as big as coleman" when in reality coleman and cutler are probably paying top dollar for their miracle supplements a.k.a steroids

Yeah, any type of sponsorship is going to be the same. What do you have to offer them? If you are 18 years old and have the body of Jay Cutler or Arnold, then that would be something notable and something a supplement company might be interested in. Start working hard, take progress shots of yourself and keep them. Start a portfolio and maybe when they have a convention around your area for stuff like this, go talk to some of the booths and see what they say.

I am sponsored but won this at a competition for fitness. They are happy with my achievements and have kept me on for 09.
sometimes if you do a sport, any sport, you can approach them for sponsorship since its the athletes they look at as it can be expensive for athletes to compete, marathons, ironmans, cycling, bodybuilding, rollergirls......you name it.
