Well, there are really two purposes. As soon as I get out of HS, I want to be a Ranger. So, I googled the Navy SEAL pre-BUD/S conditioning program and put the first phase into a spread sheet. The other purpose pertains to the other, upper body strength. I'm pretty lacking in that area and can only do around 5 pull ups on any given day, give or take a few.

A good Navy SEALs workout book I would like to recommend is The Complete Guide to Navy SEAL Fitness by Stewart Smith. It's got some great workouts in there, written by Stewart Smith who is a former Navy SEAL himself.

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Work and Explorers have me tied up pretty much.
I might want to lose some weight, and then gain it back in muscle form, as opposed to just building muscle and weighing a little more than I'd like. Plus, I'm told I would dominated in the 125 or 130 weight class in wrestling, so I might try to drop a few pounds as my school is getting a wrestling team next year.

If you're young right now and competing in wrestling, the best thing to do when you're hanging in between two weight classes is to just go to the heavier weight class.
Your body is growing right now, so you'll continue to gain weight in the form of muscle, bones, fat, ect. If you try to lose weight while your body is in a state of rapid growth, you're going to hurt yourself. You will lose muscle tissue, you will lose muscle glycogen, you will have very little energy for your wrestling matches, and you will trick your body into thinking it's in starvation mode.
In order to effectively lose weight while your body is in a state of rapid growth is to suppress macronutrients from it. You will have to eat like a rabbit throughout the day, and you will feel horrible about yourself because you will have very little energy. You will be suppressing your body from the macronutrients and micronutrients that it needs in order to function properly. So you risk suffering from malnutrition.
The best thing to do is to just go up to the next weight class so that you can continue to eat the way you are eating right now. You'll have more energy, more muscle glycogen, and your strength will be at 100% for your wrestling matches.

I haven't started wrestling yet. We get our team next year, but thanks for the advice. I'm usually anywhere between 130-140, as of late. Plus, I'm 5'9" but a lot of people think I weight a lot less? I dunno. I run a lot, and according to my ASI (who was also a bodybuilder) I have some nice calves lol. The quads are pretty big too.
