hey im new to the site , i've been weight lifting for almost a year and im not seeing alot of progress and i'm wondering if any one has some hints

First, WELCOME TO EF. This is a wonderful community full of geniuses that will transform your body if you take there advice and implement it.

Now,

Post your diet and weight lifting rutuine and maybe we can give a little advice. What you have provided us here at extremefitness is vague. Just more information about your regement, age, weight, height, stats, diet and etc would help immensely.

We would need to know your goals too, do you want help with gaining muscle, losing fat, gaining strength, or... gaining fat ? If it's the latter I suggest eating only one huge (5000+ kcal) meal per day, just before going to bed, consisting of plenty of saturated fat and refined sugar.

well im 18 almost 19 going on 340 pounds at 6 foot seven inches

i eat what i can at the least i train 3 times a week the most about 10 if i can keep motivated i just enter the freeweights room about a month ago now and im benching 90 while my legs can press about 270, and the others i'll get back to when im more clear

i guess i want to bed thin but i want to have muscle im 67 and im not sure i just want to go to the beach shirtless for once

Surely, you didn't mean that you're 67 in age, but 6'7" in height. Correct? In that case, what is your real age?

If you haven't done so already, I would check out the Member's Workout Routines to get an idea of what type of workout routines might interest you. You can find it here:

Also, as LittleBigs suggested, post us your diet and workout routine. Just simply jot down what you eat on a typical day. From the time you wake up, to the time you go to bed (and be honest with us). For your workout routine, tell us what you usually do from the time you walk into the gym, to the time you step out. Also, what kind of environment do you live in? Do you have access to a gym, or do you live far away from fitness centers? You don't have to give us specifics about what your Bench Press max is and so on. Just tell us what exercises you do, and how long you do them for.

Also, please tell us what your current fitness level is. Do you play sports or not?
