Weekend Over-eating..
Does anybody else have this problem??
I always seem to do real well with eating healthy Monday-Friday, but then come Saturday and Sunday that all goes down the drain....
I exercise 6 days a week, but the weekends seem to delay my progress in getting in shape....well, just toning up in general.
It's like I'll feel soo great when I eat healthy, but one day of over-eating leaves me bloated and gassy a day or two until I get back on track. When I bloat, it's not just my stomach, but 'everywhere'!! Especially my face, which is super annoying.
I guess I'm mainly just looking for support. I feel like I'm doing this all on my own.

Welcome to EF!
So what is different about the weekend? Are you going out with friends? Eating out?

No....
I'm normally home during the weekends.
And I also tend to be much more tired from exercising throughout the week.....
I think the reason I eat so much on the weekend is because I hardly ever eat anything unhealthy throughout the week.....so on the weekend I get bored, and tired, and crave everything. So I just go for it and then feel horrible afterwards, which is what brought me to this site.....
By the way, I'm new to the site.
Hello.=)

Hmmmm...sounds like you might be depriving yourself a bit too much during the week. Maybe you could "cheat" once every other day with something you like. That way you might not get crazy on the weekends.
By the way, where or what is "Pineappoia?"

First of all welcome, lots of motivated freindly people here to help you stay focused.
second, I agree with toonces, for me the easiest way to keep focused on diet is NOT to deny a craving. You need to exert control but going cold turkey on something only makes you crave it more. It's a fine line to walk, but it may be the key to hold fast through the weekend so you don't undo all the good from you efforts during the week...

What my wife and I used to do is leave Sunday open for eating what we want and every other day e'd have a strict diet. that way it was easier to do because if we were craving something, we'd just have it on Sunday, plus if its only 1 day you can only eat so much.
Another thought is to figure out what you're craving and whats a good substitute. Lets say you're craving chips; but are you? or are you craving something salty or crunchy. Lets say you want candy. Maybe you just need something sweet and an orange will do.
Just a thought.
