Automated Search

Couldn't find a thread that this question fit in - So it's listed as a new thread.

Question?

Is there a function under User Control Panel that would allow me to set up an automatic search query to notify me if a new thread or posting is listed for a topic I like. I would call it a “query watch”. For example, If I’m a fan of “Boom Boom” I would list query watch of Boom Boom. If anyone list or post the words Boom Boom I would be notified of this new post.

It’s basically an automated word search with notification. I’ve been doing it manually for various topics or names, but it would be nice to have it done automatically.

I think you're SOL, Bullwinkle. Though that would definitely be a nice feature instead of just a subscribed thread.

Until we have this automation maybe this can help a bit:
Boom[/b]+Boom&exactname=0&starteronly=0&forumchoice=16&childfor ums=1&titleonly=0&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descen ding&]My Search for Boom Boom
Just replace Boom (+ Tags) with the term your hunting at.
Add the link to your bookmarks and click it every now and then...
This will search in babes forum including subforums.
