Over the past few days you may have noticed that we have struggled to define a set of standards for the site that fit within the new USC 2257 regulations. The initial response wasn't very popular and raised alot of questions, many of which I did not have the answers to and some which will only be clear once the law has been more clearly defined.

Keep in mind, these new regulations are new and not every possible senario has been played out in terms of what is considered "covered" or not covered regarding the new regulations. We can try to push the limits as much as possible, but at the end of the day it's my ass on the line - so I set the rules.

Pictures of Babes (POB) - This for will remain as it always has, semi-nudes and nudes are acceptible, hardcore/toys/male nudity is not. Light girl/girl is also acceptible as long as there are no "open leg spread" or toy shots.

We have deteremined that hardcore will not be available either by images or by links from this site from this point forward.

We expect everyone to conform to these new rules - there will be no further discussion about them. Content that does not meet our standards will be removed, if you continue to ignore the rules your account may be terminated.

Well, I guess I am one of the posters who never writes or posts, and I have to say I am sorry to see the Babes thread gone. It was always nice to look at when I had some down time. I appreciate the time and effort of the Models and Photographers, and appreciate the work they do. Hopefully the shut-down is only temporary. In the mean time, thank you to all of the Models, Photographers, and posters who took the time to display some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.

The money collected goes to support this site and benefits our members. Whenever adding new features or benefits, we will work to maximize the supporter benefits while including other members.

Supporter status does not excuse a member from acting within the site guidelines/rules. If a member continually ignores the rules or is abusive in their posts, their account may be suspended or banned without any consideration of the monies donated to the site. In the event a user is suspended or banned, monies paid will not be refunded during the duration.

EF Big Dogs


There are three things you need to achieve "EF Big Dog" status: Reputation Level, post count and days of membership.

See the section on Reputation below for more details on the Rep System.

A user is promoted to an EF Big Dog when they reach 125 Reputation Points, 90 days of registration and at least 50 posts on the site. So, as you can see, you can get to be an EF Big Dog simply by posting quality material on the site and getting your fellow members to "review" you.

Once you have established yourself as an "EF Big Dog", you are entitled to the following benefits:

If you are a site contributor as well as an EF Big Dog, then you get the greater of the privledges offered.

EF Top Dogs


In recognition of those Big Dogs who continue to go the extra mile, there is a new group for Top Dogs. Membership to the Top Dogs group requires 500 posts, 180 days of membership and 300 reputation points.

Fitness models have a special place on ExtremeFitness. If you are a model and can be verified by one of our staff, you will get special privledges on this site - including:

. EF BABE tag to identify you as the real deal
. Name highlighted in pink (if group is selected in User CP)
. additional PM space
. avatars
. attachments to posts
. special forum access
. our gratitude for participation and a group of mods who will kick anyone's ass who upsets you.
. 2mb upload space on Photo Galleries, 150kb upload file size limit, 20 uploads per day

Avatars

Under our old system anyone was allowed to have an avatar. During the conversion we noted over 1,000 avatars were in use on our boards. During the conversion to the new system, we limit the use of avatars and eventually reset all non-supporter avatars. We did this because the analysis of our server information showed that more than 50% of our server traffic was attributable to avatars! Our server was typically running at upwards of 9mb/second during the daytime and even with the added load of our new layout (which uses more graphics), our bandwidth usage has dropped more than 50% since resetting the avatars. Many avatars were also being linked to other sites increasing the demand on our resources.

To keep our bandwidth usage at a reasonable level, we've extended our site supporters the benefit of being able to have their own avatar. It only makes sense that those who contribute to the overall costs of the site would get such a benefit.

We regret that so many people were upset about the loss of their avatar; but the benefit/cost analysis is very obvious.

The avatar limits are documented above; but we reserve the right to remove or disallow any objectionable content as an avatar. The means any content which is not allowed on the site is not allowed within an avatar.

Signatures

Signatures may be used on the site with limitations. We expect signatures to be conforming to site standards for content - signatures which do not conform will be removed. Repeated violations can result in a loss of posting privileges.

Registered users may have up to 2 lines of signature text, no images and no links to outside sites.

Site Supporters, Big Dogs and Verified EF Babes can have up to 3 lines of signature text, 1 image (700x90 max size) and may link to outside sources.

The following restrictions apply to all users:

. No hardcore or images which depict full nudity
. No links to hardcore sites permitted
. No links to other forum websites

Signatures which exist and exceed these limitations will be reset.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding - our intent is to make EF a visually pleasent place to visit and avoid too much "clutter".

Reputation System

Each user starts out with a Reputation Level of 10. It is not until a user reaches a Reputation Level of 25 that their Reputation Points count towards someone else (but you can still rep other people with no point value to your rep). You also must have a post count of at least 10 for your points to apply.

[Note: Reputation Levels is a sub of all the points you have received, Reputation Points is the number of points you can give/take from someone when you rep them).

Everyone starts out with 1 Reputation Point (except the Admin who has 15).

Users can earn additional Reputation Points which can be given (or taken away) to other users:

+1 point for every year of membership
+1 point for every 1,000 posts

Members can leave positive or negative reviews which effect another members score. Members should reward (or penalize) other members based on the content they provide the site. Find the Reputation icon under a users name and click on it to leave a review. You can give out 20 points per day in reviews and after reviewing 3 different users you can re-review someone another time.

As an added bonus, if I think your posts deserve an Administrator review, you be awarded (or penalized) 15 points.

Reputation Labels

User is Dead to Us (-100 points)
User is an Asshole (-50 points)
User is a Jerk (-10 points)
User is not very well liked (0 points)
User is a Regular Joe (10 points)
User says People Like Me (50 points)
User says People REALLY Like Me (75 points)
User is a Content Provider (100 points)
User is an EF Big Dog (125 points)

This site is monitored by a group of Moderators whose job it is to keep this site from being abused. Moderator decisions are absolute and not subject to debate - this is not a "free speech" or "public" forum, this is our site and you are invited to participate.

I have my own reasons for doing so, but traditionally this has been necessary to weed out the crowd. While some will tell you they only come here for the babes section, this is a fitness site first and the POB section is simply a "lounge type" forum that constantly gets abused.
