New "User Warn %" feature question
Hi, sorry if this information is already posted elsewhere, but I was wondering how this new "User Warn %" feature, (listed below the rep button of a user's profile actually works). Is it based on negative repping so that evey negative rep increases the % until it reaches 100% and then the user is automatically banned by the system, or something like that? If it worked that way by the system banning users with too many negative reps, that would help the mods out controlling the forum, I think. Just curious about this feature, I just noticed it today so I thought I ask about it. Thanks.

I've made a slight modification to display "No warnings." if you have not been warned of any rule violations.
The explination above is right on - if you get dinged by a Moderator for breaking a rule, you'll see your Warning indicator go up and you can click on the link to see why you were dinged. I fyou hit 100% you get an 8 day suspension.
Only you can see your warning level (and Moderators).

Thank you for the reply FP! Hopefully this will help keep the forums operating smoothly with this check system now in place that will help ensure "proper" posts from all users, instead of some users ignoring the mod's advice & ticking off the mods. Thank you again for this information, it confirmed my thinking on it. It's a great site here, let's keep it that way everyone!

Just noticed it as well - another case of the "search" button saving a new thread being posted. Though I may start looking over my shoulder before posting

Couldn't be, the increments are by 10%, check now, it's as close to 98% without auto-banning that I could do
ie. you're walking a very, very thin line now boi , hehehe.
Hell I figured that if I'm gonna git blamed fer it, I may as well make it a worthwhile reality.

Could this be what you're laughing at ????
Might as well share with the other dawgs, solely as an example of what the mods see under each persons post, not an attempt in any way to embarass the boi.

Bad monkey. Bad monkey. I believe the old salt is having a wee bit fun at Boi's expense.
