Image Hosting - not the same for all browsers
Due to my recent signature troubles, I've been noticing that members using different browsers are having difficulties seeing pictures uploaded on certain image hosts!!!

I use FireFox 1.5 browser. When I upload a picture on FileCabin and FreeImageHost I can't see the damn pictures being posted. Ive checked all my browser settings, but haven't found any solutions to the problem.
If I upload a picture on Uploader.ws and a full pic (not a thumbnail) on imagevenue I can see it just fine, but certain IE browsers and Netscape browsers cannot see the Imagevenue full size photos posted
I guess my question is..............has anyone been experiencing the same problems I'm having???

I'm sure Plover will shed some light on this. This is right up his alley. By the by, I can always undelete Greg's "sarcasm free" post if anyone is interested.

In the Firefox configuration there is a nice setting to block the referer header (the info from which website you are coming from), if EF is on the blacklist of a certain hosts you might be able to view the images anyway. You might, not sure though.
type "about :config" in the URL tab and search for "network.http.sendRefererHeader"
0: no referer is send
1: referer only for html files
2: referer for html files and images
The Imagevenue fullsize-pic is a URL with a php code, IE and Netscape are having problems interpreting this. Maybe with IE7.
