Default Personal Training Certification?

I got certified thru 24 hour fitness in '98 and havent trained since. I'm looking to get back into training and want to know which certification is most recognized by health clubs. I live in DFW and health clubs around here say Cooper Inst. is the one to have but I'm looking to get more info about the topic. The research I've done on the net leads me to ISSA but their pretty expensive, so any and all info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

not really sure what you are lookin to get based on your info. You mention getting a certified in training but dont specify if you want info on personal trainer, class trainer, nutrition, etc... then go on to ask about what appears to be schools of some sort? Cooper Inst?
The ACE certification is recognized by almost every fitness club out there for a personal trainer. Between the study materials and cert you are looking at about $400-$500

Lastly welcome to the forum, please try and keep the topics where they belong, cert info is hardly website feedback
