Damned you guys are some impatient dudes.
Well it all started when I visited a website of a very well known soft stuff babe.
Each time I R-clicked a pic:
I didn't get a warning like it is custom for those websites that don't want you to save a pic to your PC > you get the warning of the copyright blablabla.... and you simply can't save the pic unless you have some software that allows you to still save that pic. I use FF BTW, so I have this software as an extention
You can go around this by simply taking a screenshot.
What I discovered however is that each time I R-clicked a pic I, not only did I not get a warning, but my browser simply shut down. Simple as that.
The lady who owns that website surely knows any trick in the book and was probabily already on the internet with a website, when some of you weren't even aware that there was something like the opposite sex
Now making your browser crash without warning every time you R-click a pic is a bit too much. I consider that as a "malware" application.
OK so far, and here's what I found out while browsing the P2P stage with my Shareaza:
While searching I find many, many suspicious stuff of that same lady, in the form of zip files that contains malware in the form of a browser hijacker.
The zip files all have the name of the babe's website and have a SetUp.exe or an Install.exe that should hijack your startup page. Of course it could be the famous CWS, that is almost unpossible to delete unless you've installed the CWS Shredder.
Now I failed to respond sooner because I still have to test out the Install or Setup exe's in a what you would call "safe evironment".
At this stage I'm not shure if these installers hijack your startup page and replace it with a startup page of that website.
At this stage I can't give you a name either, because I could be wrong, and the website owner isn't involved; allthough remains the fact that your browser crashes when you trie to save a pic.
Maybe this all much ado about nothing, in that case my apologies for making a big thhing about it.
When I used the word evolution in my 1st post, I meant: are website owners using malware to redirect you to their pages ? yes some do; but I've never seen a famous one's doing that.
