Easy way to do a rockin vid post on EF

1. NAME of Vid

2. INFO
Size of vid i.e. 75mb
It's nice if you also include type of vid mpeg, AVI, zip, rar etc.

3. SCREENSHOTS
There is only one EASY way to do GREAT screenshots that I have found
The FREE version of this easy to use program

http://www.frame-shots.com/

Without paying for the program the screenshots will have "frame shots demo" across them but as you see it is no big
Once you have the program and are making a screenshot set the thumb width to 250 and the thumb height to 200. This will give u a nice big easy to see pic like this

Once you have made your screenshots upload them here

http://www.imagevenue.com/

You can upload up to 5 screenshots(4 is a good amount)
Now with the screenshots remember someone is looking at them deciding whether they want to download your vid, comment, rep u etc so you want them to be good.

If your not gonna post a screenshot don't post!!

4. Post link
Use rapidshare for vids under 30mb

http://rapidshare.de/

For Vids over 30mb use

http://www.yousendit.com/

Submit post.

There you have it!

Comments are welcome
Thanks to EF for providing this GREAT forum

I dug this post up and stickied it because I think it might help those that would like to know how to post screen shots. Others are welcome to add on with other suggestions so as to guide newbies.

....if you use Internet Explorer as your browser, all the vid files you watch are held in the "Temporary Internet Files" folder, usually a hidden folder under c:\Documents and Settings\Yourname\Local Settings\.

http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Hidden-F...ers-in-Windows

If it's a flash video file and you want to watch it off-line, you'll need a FLV Player like this: http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3...-10467081.html

If you want to convert .flv to .wmv or .mpg (recommended step), try Super© by eRightSoft http://www.erightsoft.com/Superdc.html

Find what you just converted, and open it with Windows Media Player: find the Tools|Options|Performance tab, and click that, then set the Video Acceleration to "None" and play your video. Pause it where you want to grab a screen shot: hold down the Control key on your keyboard and press the Print Screen key, then release both. What you see in Windows Media Player just got copied to your Clipboard. Open up whatever photo editing program you have, and open a blank canvas - then paste your screen shot to it. Save the file to your hard disk, then upload it to imagevenue as told above.

There are also online video converters for those with decent bandwidth and those who wish to not have a program installed, one of which can be found by typing "media-convert" into google, without the quotes, it also does a range of sound and text files
