Default High Intensity for cardio?

Hey, I, like most everyone else absolutely hate cardio (bikes eliptical, running) you name it, so my question is:

If you do a high intensity workout (When I say this i mean, moderate/high sets, high reps) mixed with lets say 20 minutes of classic cardio at the beginning and a 5-10 minute cool-off at the end, would it be an effective way to lose weight?

I would be doing exercises such as deadlift, squats clean'n'press and so on to incorporate more muscle activity.

Please share your thoughts on this.

High intensity is the way to go. It is great for your heart, better for your stress levels than monotonous machines, and keeps your metabolism high for much longer than traditional cardio.
Plus, it digs into your glyogen stores within a couple a minutes, so it's awesome for cutting fat. For a few good high intensity cardio workouts, that you can do in about 20 mins, check out crossfit
