Hey all,

I gave a quick hello a few months ago in the main intro thread. Figured I should finally give a bit more background.

Name's Neely. I'm a Figure competitor in the NPC. Been competing for about 4 years now. 8 shows to date. Did Junior Nationals earlier this summer, and now I'm prepping to hit one or two local/regional shows before the year's out. Then it's back to tweaking things for next year's national shows.

I also do some modeling here and there. All kinds of genres, not just Fitness

Anyway... HI!

Good luck with prep. Maybe you can start a blog and or journal to let us know about your contest prep journey?

What was your background before competition? Were you in athletics, or did you just decide to go for it one day?

I've pretty much always been active. I was one of those kids all growing up that was involved in one sport or another year round. Soccer, softball, cheerleading, track... I was a sports trainer throughout high school and that's also when I first got into lifting. College kinda set me a back a little (too much partying, not enough lifting

). But once I got back into my groove with the gym, I finally bit the bullet and got into competing.
