Motivation!
Hey ladies (and men who are peeping!)
So how do you guys keep motivated when you have 'THOSE DAYS'!? You know what I'm talking about! Do you have any special things you do or think that make you get up n go? Just wondering, everybody's different like that.

sadly, I sometimes find it very hard to get motivated. But, if I get enough sleep I feel good and thinking possitive, motivational, sorts of things is easier. I find talking to my two friends who have broken the 4 minute mark for the mile is a great motivator. There are 4 of us and two have broken it, one is almost there, and I'm the slow one. I get motivated just talking about training with them I guess. Whatever works.

man ..what a question ..motivation ......
Like g samsa and like everybody else in life im pretty sure i have failed to get myself motivated on many an occassion .... But what i like to do is think about what i want to achieve ...a dream or vision ... sit down and realise what it takes to achieve that and then set about it ...What motivates me is that voice in my mind when i'm shattered or too tired to train telling me to stop ( ye all know what im talkin about ) , telling me to relax a bit , telling me to go easy like the guy next to me. I know every time i defeat that voice ( and to me it is literally there everytime i train) i get the greatest sense of achievement and every time i listen i get the greatest sense of failure or guilt. You can use all sorts of things to motivate yourself but nothing beats self-motivation from deep within. Im not sayin i win everytime ( god knows i haven't) but i would like to think i have won more than i've lost...

My motivation is very simple, I just remember that when I am slacking off my competitors are working out twice as hard to kick my ass!

Pudgy nightmares
I just remember the "jelly-belly" and thighs I had after delivering my Conan (1998)...and say to myself, "Self, remember how you felt at a flabby 175 lbs?? Do you really want to end up there again ...without a solid excuse like THAT one?"
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!
