I think I need to gain some weight/mass
I was always a healthy weight growing up...almost to the point where I secretly thought I could stand to lose ten pounds hehe Then in college, I started to trim down a bit. Instead of gaining the "freshman 15", I lost them. I think what really changed in my life was my eating habits...Ibeing away from home, I had control...and was also regulated...no late night snacks, etc hehe I ate the cafeteria food, which was good. But I really got into rice and would eat a plate of it with every dinner course just about lol
In the years after college, I began lifting weights and really working on my nutrition and fitness. I trimmed down nicely to where I was toned and slender, but still had my breasts lol
Then a few years ago, I moved away from home...across the country to Phoenix, AZ. Long story short...I went through a bad depression...being out there alone, meeting someone, falling in love, having a relationship for months, then getting cheated on, etc.........feeling all alone...anyway, I had never experienced depression like that...so much so that I couldn't eat. I would be hungry and go to the store and buy delicious, healthy foods I love...then go home and cook it and sit down to eat...but then I'd see something on tv or just something stupid and be reminded all over again and get this lump in my throat and just cry and not be able to eat...It was pretty bad...
It went on for a couple months and I started to notice some really bad changes in my body. For one, my long hair was starting to fall out. I'd take a shower and there would be SO much hair in the tub and all over the walls, I couldn't believe it. I was scared. Then, one day I was brushing my hair in front of the mirror naked, and I noticed how skinny my upper arms had become, and especially, how much my ribs were sticking out. They'd never stuck out before, in fact, I'd always had a nice lil layer of fat and flesh over them hehe I got really worried....and knew something had to change...I decided to move back to the east coast, back to be nearer to my family, who I missed SO much...but that's all another story...
I just wanted to lay the foundation....basically, I don't know if it's all my metabolism or what......but I figured after I moved back home and things became normal in my life again, I'd put some weight back on....
well, I eat and eat lol but am surprised that I havne't gotten much meatier. My ribs still kindof stick out....something I don't really like. AND, MY BREASTS are of course, smaller then they were before.
I don't like people assuming that I have an eating disorder b/c I manage to stay so thin...which sometimes they do, including my own family for a bit...or even a drug problem lol Like some think I must be a coke head or something....but I'm not, I don't even like to drink alcohol.
So, I"d really like some advice as to what to eat or do to try to gain some weight and fill out my already curvy figure just a bit more.
I'd really appreciate any advice

For starters, post us your old routine that you did during the years after college. Obviously, whatever you did back then must have worked for you because you said you were content with your physique back then. In a nutshell, hard work will pay off, no matter what you do. You can do full body workouts or split routines. Whichever way you go, if you put a lot of effort into it, you can't go wrong.
I can't offer you first-hand advice, because I'm not a lady. But I can relate to your experiences. Just like yourself, I too had better control over my diet when I transferred to the university. I wasn't at home all the time, where my mom would leave cookies and Cheetos in the cabinet. We also have a gym on campus, so it's really easy to access.

oh wow, thank you sweetie! Gosh, you have me blushing hehe
I am very flattered.
I would like to gain a bit more fat.....I guess...since people say I"m TOO skinny lol I guess the big thing is my ribs sticking out...and my breasts shrank, of course lol
but I'd also definitely like to build up my muscle again to make me curvier...I'd like to not have a "flat" but for example LOL

I think Insexy was just saying that he found it easier to be healthy and happy with his body while he was not living at home too, so he could relate to how you felt that way ^_^
You were right about bloody text and not having any tone and being hard to translate!! hehe we need voice internet

you are the cutest!!
to be honest I'm probably going to be completely muscle biased, hehe, like for example, if you gain muscle in your bum instead of fat, the flatness will go away and you wont get a big rap stars gf bum! not that i can imagine you'd ever have one of those but it would definately be less saggage!
You're right about boobs though! its only fat and milk glands that can help you there! hehe
gaining some chest muscle will stop the sagginess though, but you already look really toned!!
I was watching a doco on sumo wrestlers, to gain fat they sleep after they eat, which i think is awesome! hehe, hmmm
could you tell us what you eat and do on average in a week? That should help!

Post your diet and training and we may be able to help tweak your stuff to get you some nice lean mass.........you look good but I think you would look great with a tad more mass and you are lean so you would get nice lean mass and yes it will enlarge the boob mass too if you gain a tad of body fat.

Fixing the "flat butt" is easy. Make Squats and Lunges your best friends for the next few months.
For increasing bust size, I've heard that women can do this by increasing the size of their pectoral muscles underneath the breast tissue. By increasing the muscle size, it will make the chest "stick out" more. Some good exercises in this case would be Bench Press, Incline Bench Press, Decline Bench Press, Flies, Incline Flies, and Decline Flies.

thanks everyone...for the breasts though, I do have muscle under them lol from the lifting I used to do...problem is, it creates this "shelf-like" appearance, where you see the breasts "stacked" upon this huge shelf of muscle underneath. Does anyone know what I mean?
I think it's part of why I got picked on a lot in some other forums when I posted pics of me...b/c they said I looked too much like a man lol and I figured it was just b/c I seemed too muscular looking....

and right now, my life is just WAY too hectic to have any type of regular routine...I eat when I get the chance pretty much...sometimes I work ten hours and am running around all the time and not able to eat much....I"m definitely not getting enough sleep, so that makes me feel crappy and groogy and sluggish. My friend suggested I start taking a multi-vitamin b/c I don't feel like I"m getting the nutrition I need.
I'd really like to get back to a normal routine where I"m in control of what and when I eat every day...as well as getting back to a fitness routine. Hopefully spring will shape up for me, as the outdoors beckon. I think I"m getting stir crazy, being stuck inside all the time lol And if I move away like I"m debating doing, then things will finally get back to normal.
thanks for the kind posts everyone, I appreciate it and will keep you posted, I guess

I really don't know what your work schedule is like, but I know what its like to be tied to long hours working. For me it just came down to making up my mind and fixing a schedule. It took some juggling and determination, but pretty much between 12pm->1pm I try my best to make it out to the gym.
Things always come up that want to get in the way, but with time management and planning its been working out for me. I used to be where you were where events would pretty much pull me in the direction they'd want to take me in. Its just a matter of trying to take charge of your day.
Now naturally, it worked for me, I have no idea what the demands on your time are, so it may not apply, but hey you never know!

well thanks for your post hun, but see, my concern isn't so much that I"m not working out hehe
It's simply that I eat but can't seem to gain the weight...I don't know if it's my metabolism or what. I don't really want to take those protein shakes or anything to try to gain weight...
I was thinking maybe there were good foods, with protein, etc, that would be good for building muscle and help put a lil fat on my bod.
I'd just like it if, for example, my ribs didn't stick out so much.
