Unusual bloating
Very wierd situation going on and she's starting to get a bit concerned now. Sometimes she'll be bloated and sometimes she's not. and it's not necessarily around her time of the month.
I'l post her diet:
Breakfast - yogurt and 2 egg whites
Mid morning - low protein bar (about 15 grams)
Lunch - Tuna and Cottage cheese, banana
Dinner - Usually either fish or chicken
She also takes About 4 pills a day of branched chain amino acids. She weighs about 125lbs at 5'2". I have no idea how much her BF% is but she works out 5 days a week, 3 days weights and 2 days Palates.
Her routine is a circuit training routine:
Incline chest press/ incline flys superset - 10 reps
situps
BB squats/ DB pleie'(sp?) squats superset - 10 reps
leg lifts
Front DB raise/ lateral raise superset - 10 reps
situps
Wide grip BB rows/ close grip underhand rows superset - 10 reps
Overhead tricep extentions - 12 reps
Biceps curl - 12 reps
SLDLs - 10 reps
calf raises - 15 reps
kick backs with ankle weights - 15 reps
inner thigh raise - 15 reps
This is 3 days a week. Burns quite a bit of calories and she gets her cardio plus weights in as well. Works well with her schedule. I posted all of this for everyone to get an idea of what she does.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I think she just needs more food. Have her eat a little more. Maybe she's bloating because she's overstressed about something. Mental stress can impact your body physically. Adonis just posted an excellent article about stress today. It might help explain her situation. Read it here:
How to Prevent Overtraining Syndrome
She doesn't eat a real hardy meal until Lunch. By that time, it's getting late in the day. She should try eating the majority of her Calories during the first half of the day, and as much as she can before her workout. Have her try it and see if it helps.
Also, have her eat the whole eggs. That's where all the nutrients are!
She needs an actual meal for her mid-morning snack. Just having a protein bar is not sufficient enough. Maybe she can have some brown rice, chicken, and some vegetables instead. I don't see any vegetables listed in her diet. Tell her to eat her greens!
Her workout looks good.
I hope this helps.

I agree with Insex.
A body needs real protein fro natural sources, that was the way it was designed. Also real food more than bar food an processed.
It may also be she is very sensitive to some of the proteins or additives...everyone is different.

amen to that. I can't eat eggs, oatmeal, or peanut products because these foods (very popular in diets found on this forum) make me oh so bloated and miserable for days, even in small quantities. salt intake affects it, too.

well put tellico, some poeple are extra sensitive to things or suddenly become sensitive then become even allergic, I posted an answer in the first of this thread, maybe lactose intolerance, sensitive to an item, maybe try a diff. protein bar??

I posted in my other thread, but as it also turns out, she's not supposed to be having much salt at all anymore. A nutricianist told her she's pretty much having too much in her diet and that's more than likely the culprit in the bloating. She's also apparently not eating, or at least not eating enough. Her protein was way down and her carbs (complex) are too high.

nice, that is an easy fix and sodium is not something we lack if we eat enough produce since it has tons of natural sodium.....
hope that helped solve her issue!!
