HELP-Always tired!!!
For about a year, I was getting up regularly (daily) and exercising @ 5:30a.m. Recently, I can't drag my butt outta bed.
Any suggestions?

If everything else is the same now as it was when you got up early (nutrition, number of hours asleep, stress level, health, etc.) then perhaps it would help to get in touch with what motivated you back then to get up so early. It may be that the motivater you had then won't work now and you'll want to find another. If it's a "should" then it isn't a real motivator. What motivation do you have now to get up early and go workout? Maybe a new goal would help. Of course, if you're unusually tired or otherwise think that health issues may be involved I'd suggest going to the doc first before finding that new motivator.

really hard to offer any advice without anymore insight into your diet, habits, workout routine, age and such. really need more info than you posted to give any advice. are you doing a lot of late night activity such as out going out partying? if you post more info im sure theres some advice a lot of on here can give you.

I agree with these guys, need more input, but they made great points, general ideas that may be contributing to your issue?

I find that the more workouts I miss, the more tired I am throughout the day, and ironically, the more trouble I have getting to sleep once my tired butt is finally in bed. Maybe just forcing it for about a week will get your energy back and thereby make it easier to continue? Even it it's just 25 min of cardio, not a full workout, this seems to be enough IME to get rid of daytime yawns. Although for my body, for daytime energy, it is best to exercise somewhere in the 1-6 pm timeframe rather than early morning or late night.
Another thing that makes a huge difference for me in this area is taking my multivitamin. Fewer yawns, makes my brain much much sharper, and I can think and react on my feet so much quicker as opposed to when I'm not taking it. (even used to double up about 2 days in advance when I had exams coming up- seemed to really make a difference!)
