That line on your tummy!
Hey guys!
Whats the line? its under your belly button but like an inch above the pubic bone thing. I'm seen it on a million ladies. is it a strech mark? Do you know the thing I'm talking about?

Hi,
The vertical line that you can see on ladies who have had a baby is called the Linea Negra.

GG are you talking about a vertical or horizontal line?
and old c-sections used to be vertical, now they're horizontal, my sisters was, like a big smile across her belly...she has a scar now

Do you mean the 'money maker' muscles? They run from pubic to hips, can only see them if your full 6-8 pack is out and you are super lean...........is that the one you mean?

hmmm, I might have to take a pic!
its definately not a c section or some having kids btw! :P
its like, if there is little to no fat on your tummy, just above this line is where it first comes on. maybe that helps?

Is this just on the ladies? B/c my lowest ab (I'm a dude, btw) has a line (terminates? whatever) just above the pubic bone.
And yes, I am self-obsessed.

fat or c-section!
i've always been slim when younger and never had it till the last few yrs when became overweight and been battling the bulge since! Since then have always had the line so it's the overweight thats causing it cos the stomach sticks out when fat, also had my baby by caesarian 2yrs ago so even if lose the weight and get fit now will still have it!
By the way gymgirl can I ask how many crunches a day u do to have ur stomach look like that! I'm doing about 50per day and still all flabby !

Crunches are overrated. Spend 30 min doing moderate cardio a day and all these great abs you been building with your crunches will finally pop out. To remove the flab, you need to loose fat, and crunches is not a very good calories burner. I suggest cycling (if you prefer low impact sports) or jogging (if your joints can handle high impact). Jogging usually burns a few more cal/hr than cycling. Have fun!

same line but on Britney Spears, it's not as developed as Ava Cowans
that's called the pelvis
usually can work those muscle out by doing some leg lifts or oblique crunches
