Cutting my hair shorter!!! - ladies??
Okay Lizzy, you better look at this one, cuz your the pro.
I am thinking of doing this.....similar color too, I like this cut and wanted to try shorter.....then for show I may do this or the bob like I had in Dec.....its all down to shoulder and I don't know what to do with it without just going bob all the time and its too long now so.......and this seems easy for now.....and I wanted to try it, I was never this short.....never, the shortest I got was close but not quite this short......the back and sides were a tad longer but still a boy cut, not bob and not bowl cut.......just not this short......I hope its not the beautiful chick making me think this cut will make me look as good as her.
I love my hair long, I look young and its pretty but this is my year to play so.......
Short layered and slightly tousled boyish hairstyle for an easy feminine look
Here, I can past the pic, the link has more info and text on the cut too:
I have pretty much made up my mind but welcome any words, opinions, whatever input........kinda sharing I guess..........
Linda

Thats a very nice hairstyle! I wish I could have that type of cut but because i'm very overweight short hair makes me look fatter, so I keep my hair long(and wear black because it makes me look slimmer) but if thats you in your display pic then your slim so it will definitely suit you

Linda! That style would be awesome on you girl! When are you going to do it?!
Just was checking some of your long hair shots, and you know what? You just may suit short hair BETTER than long! It's sooooo sexy/sassy.....I love it! I'm a real fan of short styles, because you can do soooooo much with them (from a stylist's perspective...it's not just straight cutting, it's texture, and I love texture!)......I hope you'll share pics too, when you decide to take the plunge.......maybe for a certain birthday I know is coming up

oooooh, stop drooling and put those scissors away.......I am getting a bit scrd......just joshin', I just have met so many who wanted to chop my hair and would drool just like you just did....hahahahah.
well I def would post pics....and the whole texture thing I am kinda getting because of you mentioning it already before, this is all so out of my league.......took 30 yrs to cut it..........but now that it grew out and it grew fast, I am at a loss so I figured this would be maybe easy for me? I just wash n go, I don't normally use anything, no dryer no curler - ha, when I tried to use one I basically nearly ended up crying and looked like a moron! I barely manage with my straightener............ponytails I can do! My hair grows so fast, as a kid I would will it to grow but it would not grow as fast at this and I realized it was diet, health etc.
Now I figure I have to cut it every 2-3 wks to keep a style short this year.
I was very taken by this and sassy/sexy was def what I saw, hoping it would translate to my face and I can pull it off.......ironic.....I avoided cutting my hair all theeeeeeeese years in fear of looking like a boy.....now I weightlift....and am cutting into a boy style......too funny.
Linda

Ha, you picked up on that did ya, lol!?
Yeah, I'm so about the wash and go stuff.......I hate to fuss, but love to look like I spent hours on it, lol! Give me some hair goo and away I go......I was thinking of chopping mine to for the spring, I'm usually a short hair gal....was wearing it longer after thekids for pony tail ease, but I always have said if you only wear a pony in long hair (blase), you may as well have short hair and be HAWT!

Adorable!! That looks sorta like the haircut I just got except I have a long fringe! Haha its weird cause the best pic i have of it is my sign thing I made for EF! I havent finished it yet though
I was nervous about getting it done and it took me a little while to get used to cause my hair used to be long (not as long as yours though) but i absolutely love it now! I think you'll be stoked with how it looks on you!

Wow, I know eh? Great work GG!!
Keira's got sort of fine hair though, not thick. The pic you posted Linda is pretty much what you could expect from your hair as I suspect your hair is quite thick. What's the texture of your hair? fine, medium or coarse? If it's medium or coarse, ask about having that do done by razor.....it'll definitely give a nice textured finish to your style, since there wouldn't be one straight line in there! Yeah I'm drooling! I love this kind of stuff....big change, makeovers are what get my creative processes flowing!
Your new avi is really nice too! B/W photography is such an art!

Aww, thanks Linda. Yep I had short hair a few times in my life; as a kid, because it was loads easier for my mom to take care of, lol, and in high school I had it pretty short.
Here is my hair about six months ago before I had it cut.... (pardon the dirty mirror).

...like so....(it's now about three inches longer than this)

I wanted something similar to Milla Jovovitch's:
If I were to go shorter, I would love something like Katie Holmes' haircut.
And laney is doing great, thank you for asking, Linda! How's your pups, BTW?

bluebird I could sooooooo see you wearing the Katie thing, I'd maybe leave do a stronger graduation though (going shorter/higher at the back and longer in front....stronger angles) to maintain some of that Milla attitude

I agree, the kate look would look cute on you....
I love your hair though.........
I took these today, but keep in mind, I have been dying with IBS for a few days so I do not look my best as I have been in pain, I am pale with barely any make up on and the hair is not wet but not fully fully dry, its got product on it. My back beens okay though during this......ironically! I got my sinful hoodie on......and my parasuco low riders although thats all covered by the hoodie.

Wow! You've got some nice curls in there too, that'll really make the shorter style even MORE fun to play with!!
Here's a pic of mine a few years back........in the staff room where I used to work......I think my hair is 3-4 different colors.......Oh I was very daring with my hair when I was working, lol! Now it'd cost me a small fortune to maintain the stuff I used to do, lol!
