Are bum dimples fat?

It's where a ligament goes between the posterior superior iliac spine and the skin in the space above the sacroiliac joint. B/c there isn't tissue there, it appears as an indentation. People who go over a certain body fat percentage will have a layer of fat everywhere, though, that must cover it up (I'm assuming - for all I know no fat may ever grow there, so the dimples would be even deeper; I just don't want to search out pictures of overweight women to test my hypothesis).

I have no idea how common they are, or how lean people need to be -- wikipedia says they're rare overall (Dimples of Venus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia), but a mirror check confirms that I have them, and I can't think of a girl that I've dated who didn't have them (though it's not really a feature that I zone in on and would be likely to remember), so it can't be that rare.

I don't know if it's rare due to it being genetic, or rare b/c people are overweight. If GG doesn't have them, it'll be b/c of genetics, obviously.

Yeah i have them, someone spotted them in the changerooms at the gym and told me that that must be where I hold my fat., but I was under the impression you couldnt see them if you were fat, so I thought I'd find out what they were made of!

At least I'm not a Cylon.

I think they make your lower back thingo look really cool! They totally emphasise it and look epic! I wonder if you lose them when you get cut for competition though. It will be an interesting experiment, I wonder if I can get government funding.
