I'm trying to find some new music for my ipod to pump me up with adreneline while I'm working out. I like all types - hip hop, metal, etc, so any recommendations would great.
Also, I rented some movies this week, both about female boxers, and the past couple days I can't wait to get back in the gym! kinda silly, but it really motivated me. So I'd love to hear about movies that motivate you to workout hard. Here's what I watched:
-Fight Night: this one was in the new releases and it's about a female prizefighter. The lead actress is small, lean and tough. Actually a really good movie and made me want to workout hard in my kickboxing classes. Here's a short trailer you can peek at:
-Girl Fight: With Michele Rodriguez, she's so tough, makes me aspire to be that lean and tough too.

First, welcome to the board.
My work out music is probably all oldies to you, NIN, Metallica, Marilyn Manson, Plasmatics.
In terms of movies... I'll start with female leads - sigorney weaver in the alien series.
For testosterone it's always Arnold in Predator or Jean Claude Van Dam in blood sport. Both are very contrived but get the blood going....
As a hockey player, I que up a 15 min. section of miricale on ice....

I've seen things you A1 wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark
near the Tannhäuser Gate. I've seen Rachel Mclish breakin Sigorney's neck, Cory Everson kickin Van Damme's ass, and Sue Price ripping Arnold's head off!

cool Ghost Wolf - those are some classic clips. I think I remember a few of them, especially the Iron Eagle one. Was the Cory Everson one from Hercules? I was hoping the video was really going to be Cory kicking Van Dammes ass And Sue Price ripping the Governators head off?.....priceless!!
Speaking of all this a$$ kicking, I forgot to mention that one of the reasons I loved Fight Night was that the main character was beating up on big guys the whole movie. I'm about the same size and build as her, so I had a great time watching that
As for music, I love work out to Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson, and I also have the new Metallica album on my iPOd that really rocks, so I agree that those are good workout songs. I don't know much NIN or Plasmatics. I'll sample them on itunes to check them out.
