Am just positively digusted with myself at the moment!! Just got round to taking the before and after pics, haven't actually taken a body pic(only face shots)of myself since getting overweight nearly 3yrs ago when 55kg and boy or boy was this a shock to the system or what(pukes!!!)!
Don't even know who it is in the pic??? I mean holy crap of all craps surely cant b me?? ! JEEEEEEEEEEEESUS!!
I am just soooo fat! I mean I knew I was fat but seening it like that(took pics with jus undies) I have cellulite and fat and jus disgusting!
Can't believe how much its upset me really can't and just staying away from everythign right now, don't even want to eat anymore at all.
Can't believe i've done this to myself! and shocking too how different I look I compared the pics to my bikini pics taken a few yrs back and oh my god! Doesn't even look like me at all just completely someone else though the face is still similar. Shocking just shocking how just what food you put into your body can have such drastic results.
Anyway am just not interested at all in small changes and all that crap anymore just gonna put a stop to this right now and impliment strict rules and follow them! Gotta go think i'm gonna throw up again still got those repulsive pics in mind, no offense to fat people but this booty is gonna go flab to fab sooner and not later!!

Using your anger to fuel your will to get in shape is a good thing, just don't forget that you still gotta eat something, you certainly don't want to become anorexic because if you go this route, yes you will get fast improvements in the beginning but soon it will slow down and at one point you won't be eating anything yet you won't lose weight anymore because your body will hold on to all the fat it can, and you'll be even more unhealthy than you are right now.
Keep in mind it took you years to get where you are at now, so it will take time before you get back to where you were at 3 years ago. Don't go overboard with the strictness of your diet as you might end up not being able to stick to it, adopt a healthy yet sustainable diet, exercise, and enjoy weekly progress, be it a weight loss of 1-2 pounds per week. And if you've been consistent, in 2 years time you should be pretty happy with the new you !

Right! gotta start logging this stuff or whats the point in the diary right lol
Thanks Hans yes ur right I was pretty angry at myself yesterday have calmed down a bit but not gonna budge on the healthy eating now, enough is enough ! Will try an not starve myself either but have to admit am digusted by fatty food at the moment its what made me as fat as I am now but at the same time am craving it but my willpower now is keeping it at bay and I hear it becomes easier after the first week or so. Ate reasonably yesterday(I think!) either way its a lot less than I normally eat and nothing fried either so am happy with that !
Yesterday(23/10/07) had 1banana for breakfast, 1banana pot of natural yogurt 2cheese&onion pasties for lunch(was actually out during that time and went to the chip shop and skipped the chips which have never done before ! probably should have kept to only 1pasty too or better still go to nandos across the road theyve healthier stuff), dinner had 2grilled chicken&veg filled tortilla wraps, again probably shouldve kept to one) also 2glasses wine but they were both in the morning after I saw the pics ! Workouts only 5mins on the treadmill, couldn't do more cos haven't run for ages just about managed that out of all the anger hehe !
What have I learned from yesterday? minimise portions and try and avoid bananas too cos i've heard theyre the 'fattest' fruit? don't know if its true or what but only had them and apples at home and dont much like apples soooo will try and get strawberrys and oranges or something cos I do like them!
Did much better today with the workouts but will log that when the day is over, want to get a few mins on the treadmill too tonight when get home, hopefully will manage 30mins this time, checked weight too and was a couple of pounds down tho don't know if thats to do with the drastic food change yesterday?

Honesty check here: do you really think that your weight issues are caused by too many bananas?
If so, then by all means reduce their role in your diet. I don't know what pasties are (or, at least, pasties when modified by "cheese and onion"), but I'd guess that those and the double portion of tortillas probably have a bit more negative effect on your diet than a banana.

Thanks for the input pliny but if u read again I was only comparing the banana to other fruits not other food altogether, obviously pasties and tortillas r more fattening doh!
I have time and time again heard that bananas r the fattiest 'FRUIT' yet also put a question mark there meaning i'm not sure about that, something i'll look into before reducing it of course.

same thing happened to me angelfaces, i saw a pic of myself at 265lbs, in less than a year i was at 203lbs and working out every day, eating clean, and learning how to shape my body the way i wanted it. The weight will drop off quickly at first once you put yourself into calorie deficit, dont get discouraged when the scale stops dropping for a while, youll get to a point where youll just drop 2 maybe 3 lbs a week, its still working, its just making lean mass while shedding body fat so go by what you see in the pics at that point, not the scale.
Get a diet logging program, free ones on web or something like calorieking.com so you know exactly how much of each nutrient you are consuming, that way its no guessing, you know when you fuck up when tracking it, also makes sure you are getting enough food.

Banana's being the fattiest fruit (sounds like to me anyways) is like saying strawberry is the healthiest ice cream.
I don't think you'd ever hear of someone getting fat from eating too many bananas.
I've read that banana's are high in fiber making it a slow burning carb, hence good for fat loss. I'd look at less cheese and when you do use cheese make it low fat.
A breakfast you might want to look at is eggs. There is research that suggests that eggs make you feel full longer so that you don't get as hungry. Plus its a protein to help feed your muscles. You should be trying to lose fat, not weight. If you can build muscles, you can speed up your metabolism.
Your chicken and veggie wraps sound good. Look for lean protein and high fiber meals like that you should be on your way.

Thanks for the link mooshue it was helpful and you've made me wonder about the fibre bananas thing varbo, it'll b good if they really are good for me because theyre one of my fav fruits and only ones i've at home at the moment hehe still didnt manage to get to the grocery store today to get more fruit but i'll b doing my weekly shopping on saturday so will get some then if not sooner..... what is it about shopping for fruit that makes me hesitate I wonder !
Today wasn't so bad(I think) 1banana for breakfast, a pizza for lunch(4slices)3more bananas for dinner, skipped the meal because of the pizza, and 3glasses wine during the day+water of course!
Gotta do some seriously food/veggie shopping on saturday because now that no takeaways just dont know what to eat hate cooking so that doesnt help probably get those microwave meals or something...!
For workouts not bad either 100crunches 550steps on LTT and 6mins on treadmill, not long I know but I think the 30mins goal was wishing a bit too much ! a minute more than yesterday tho so not too dissappointed bout that...
Other changes i've made is cutting out all fizzy/sugary drinks and all fried foods! Only oil i'm keeping in the kitchen from now on is olive oil and thats to be used in cooking only and not for frying...should help some lol

angel, i fry with olive oil also no problem, extra virgin would be best. When i say fry i mean like for fried eggs or whatever, not deep fry, deep fried is very bad.
Pizza for lunch was a bad choice, if you consumed 4 slices, bread and all like you have listed there. That had to be like 1200 calories right there just with the fat from cheese and grease, high carb on the bread and very little protein if there was meat.
It sounds like by reading your other posts that portion control is an issue for you, it was for me too at first. Try eating just 1 to 1 1/2 serving of each item that you have for your meals for a few days, instead of 3 banannas for a meal, eat a bananna, a cup of green beans, 4 ounces of cottage cheese. Its a lot of heavy food, low in calories and high in good nutrients like protein and fiber.
Nice work on the cardio today btw, cardio is hard to do for lengths of time, i think your 30 min goal is great for beginners.

Here are the problems I see with your last meal report :
- you should eat a larger breakfast to keep you full longer. A good example would be : 1 banana, 1-2 whole wheat slices of bread, 1-2 eggs, a glass of low fat milk.
- you should avoid skipping meals like you did with your dinner.
- you should try to limit yourself to one glass of wine per day
- pizza isn't the healthiest of choices, but if you're to have it anyway you should try to limit yourself to only 2 pieces instead of 4.
- try to eat 3 small main meals plus 2 or 3 healthy snacks (nuts, yogourt, fruits)
- fruits are great but vegetables are also filled with vitamins and fibre, yet they contain much less calories, try them !

A useful tool that helped me learn how to start a "diet" or calorie controlled lifestyle, I learned from a diet I did in college. Really helps with training your body to accept portion control. For the first week of the diet (and only the first week), you eat what you want, but you cut EVERY SINGLE portion in half and put it in a box BEFORE you start to eat your meal. At a restaurant, ask for a doggie bag/to go box when the meal arrives, go ahead and put half your meal away, then eat what you have left on your plate. At home, fix your plate. Cut everything in half, put 1/2 in fridge, and eat what is left.
This helps you because 1) you get to eat what you want (but you WILL lose weight doing this!) 2) you shrink your stomach (when you stop filling it full each time, it actually shrinks, and it then takes less to make it feel full- resulting in you only desiring appropriate portions by the end of the week!!)
there is more to that particular diet (basically, eat when you're hungry, stop when you're full, eat only what your body craves), but I thought I'd share this useful portion, because I've used this technique again and again throughout my life when I've had to unlearn certain eating behaviors, such as poor portion control.
ref to diet: "Weigh Down Workshop," by Gwen Shamblin.

good call tellico, another helpfull dining out tip is to always order the apetizer salad that comes with most meals, eat the entire thing. When your meal of like 3 portions comes out, you are full after just 1 portion due to the salad.

Thanks everyone for the advice and also for that link Varbo found alot of info on there ! Thanks again Linda for your support - cool star pic !
True what ya all said about the portions I do tend to eat alot ! Not a bad day today started great but am a bit disappointed with the end but not fretting bout it gonna still keep going!
Again had a banana for breakfast, had so many of these around finally finished them all today, will b getting more fruit tomorrow and a variety this time! Lunch went to ? For lunch went to the chinese restaurant instead of the chip-shop which is an improvement hehe difficult tho because they have a buffett on that time of day but I resisted it and got a medium portion of veggie chow mein - take out! Had a low fat yog too. For dinner because I hate cooking so much got a chinese takeout again only this time got deep fried BBQ chicken wings as a side order so not too happy bot that!
What i've realise today is I have to start cooking nutritious meals at home(now there's something my asshole ex was actually useful for !) am now looking at some websites on that sooooooo.... gotta learn fast!
as for the workouts am pretty pleased with them today ! did 100crunches 500steps and 10mins treadmill, thats 4mins more than yesterday on the running and what actually amazed me is that I actually couldve just kept on going I felt great! only had to stop because started feeling a slight tightening pain in my lower back so didn't wanna overdo it, not sure f thats something to worry about or is it normal??

I know its hard but you're probably going to want to learn how to like to cook. I used to hate cooking too until I learned enjoy it. The reason I say this is because if you put the ingredients in then you know whats in there. when you order out, the probably have lots of fatty oil too.
One part that I always hated about cooking is figuring out what I want to make. To solve this I put a list up on the fridge of things I can make with whats in the house. Also I found easy recipes that don't take too much to prepare. Found a meatloaf that is super simple and actually tases really good.

I tried the writing down what I can make out of whats in the kitchen and yep it definitly helped could'nt believe half the stff I could make and what was there!
Ok yesterday ate pretty reasonably but lot's of carbs because had takeout again and although kept away from the fried stuff had noodles and rice sooooo...gotta try and cut down on that too! workouts yesterday only did 100crunches, didn't get time for the steps and treadmill so was annoyed about that, today ate reasonably again but again carbs had pasta so thats not helping.... was better on the workouts tho did 100crunches and 20mins treadmill to make up for yesterday, missed out on the steps again but am tired so will start up on them again tomorrow !
Also had my 5 a day on fruits/veg for the first time !! 3mandarins, half a cucumber, and some strawberrys so happy bout that:!!

Doing your cardio is MUCH more important for your fat loss goal (and overall health) than doing crunches, so if you're short on time your should skip the crunches instead of the treadmill next time.
Keep in mind doing crunches will not remove the fat on your belly, this can mostly be achieved with a combination of diet and cardio (diet being the most important of the two), so if your main goal is to have visible abs and you don't have enough time to do a complete workout, then skip the abs and do your cardio !
