Need one buddy
I'm looking for an online buddy to help motivate me to lose my last 10 pounds. Maybe if I'm forced to be held accountable to my actions on a weekly basis, this will kick my butt in gear.
Any other lady out there looking to lose 10 pounds and willing to track progress in this thread every week?
Right now, I'm 32 yrs old, 5'6" tall and weigh 135. I want to lose 10 lbs. My goal is to lose the weight by May 1. I know this seems like a long time but this is my last 10 lbs and I suspect it will take me that long.

I think you should focus on body fat % vs. your weight. Being 5'6 and 135lbs, I think you are at a good weight, now start getting leaner/toned.
Just a thought...

I'm here, thanks for asking. i like your suggestion to post online journal and will begin to do so.
my day starts at 4:30a.m
4:30 am - elliptical for 20 minutes at level 4 on tues, thurs; walk on incline on treadmill on Mon, Wed, Friday or jump rope,plyometrics. I alternate b/c I get bored.
5:30 - two whole wheat waffles topped with 1 1/2 tblsp pb (natural)flax seed, honey and blueberries. Sometimes I also have a cup of oatmeal. I wake up hungry.
I also down 32 oz of water
8:00 - egg beaters w/ snow peas or broccoli
11:30 - 2 wasu crackers with 1 pck tuna or salmon (6 oz). with either carrots, cucumbers, or sweet potato
2:00 - 9-12 almonds (natural)
4:00 - 1 tsp almond butter before workout
4:30 pm - 40-60 minutes of either cardio (walking, jogging, riding bike on Monday, Wed, Friday) or 30 minutes of weight lighting (Tues, Thurs).
5:30 - protein shake w/ light soy milk and 1 scoop of protein powder
6:30 - lean meat (either chicken breast, fish, turkey). I prefer to do no carbs before bed b/c it helps keep weight off.
8:30 - bed time
I also drink tons of water during day, have a 4-year old who I stay very active with b/c I refuse to let him sit in front of television and also help husband in cabinet shop, so my down time is also "active".
Fire away. I have lost 2 lbs since logging in. I would like to tone up, per atoth's advice but can't help falling victim to wanting to lose weight.

Im trying to lose 10ish lbs as well. Down a few but got some to go! lol
