FL-From Good to Rockstar Lean! ~Courtney's March Challenge
HI EVERYONE!
My name is Courtney. Im 28 years old, newly married, and a mother of one, my son Noah is 4 yrs old. I live in Texas.
I have been chosen by Linda(thankyou again Linda! )to be apart of a
"Women’s 30 Day Fat Loss Online Challenge" along with 19 other woman and asked to keep a journal of my journey over the coming month of March. I will be following Linda's book ‘Women’s Fat Loss in 30 Days’ eBook (you gotta get it ladies!!).
I have some very real goals in mind. Not only is it my 1 year anniversary on April 28th. My husband surprised me the other day telling me we are leaving that very day for a 5 day cruise! Im sooo excited!!! I want to get in the best shape ever for it and just for bikini season as well. I have already been working out seriously for about 6 weeks and have lost a little weight and really toned up, but im looking to take my body to the next level and get super lean like ive never been before! Ive worked out off and on my whole life and been up and odwn on the scale thru the years. But not until last year did I put down my 5 lbs hand weights, step off the cardio machines(lol), and start lifting some serious weights and really seeing results. I am loving it and its totally addicting! So im excited to see what I can accomplish in the NEXT 30 days and watch my body continue to change before my eyes. 2 months till my cruise also, so gotta stay focused and keep my goals in mind. This isnt a short term thing either, I plan on staying with this and continuing on, way past bikini season!
Sooooo here are my begining stats everyone and ill post pics as well once I figure out how.....
HT- 5'5
WT-138
BF% -27.5(as of several weeks ago)
Chest-33
Waist smallest-27
Navel-31
Hips-36
Butt-38
Thigh-22
Calf-14.5
Arm-11
Bicep flexed-12
Neck-12.5
GOALS FOR THE NEXT MONTH:
~Id like to get to 21% bf and somewhere around 130 lbs
~Add some muscle!
~Do my first unassisted pull up
~Squat my weight
So I'll be preparing and reading over everything, excited to get started. I look forward to meeting the other challengers and getting to know eachother. We can help each other towards our goals and rock this next month!!!

hey there!
Just wanted to say hi! I noticed our stats are similiar and I wish you all the best with the challenge! I have those pesky last 10 pounds, and few percentages of body fat to lower, which always seem the hardest! but lets help each other out and defeat that thinking!

I def here ya on that! I have been trying to lose the "last 10 lbs" for a while now. Feel like im finally getting somewhere. Then I have to focus on maintaining!

Great first post, but your a pro with that, you have the advantage!!! Many of the ladies have never been to a forum and are still working it out......but I am sure it will all make sense as they along.
I can't wait to hear when you get that pullup!!!!!

Hi everyone!
Hows it going??? Doing great here. Off to a wonderful start. I have family in town staying at my house. My brother, and his kids plus my cousin(and bff)and her husband. Her and I are normally partners in crime in eating and drinking, but were both on our own diet plans so we decided to call it "BOOTCAMP WEEKEND" and instead of eating out and drinking we hit the gym this am for an kickbutt kick boxing class and then some extra cardio. Then we rewarded ourselves by going shopping! So fun! I got 4 new dresses! Plus we feel great and not hung over or bloated. Tonight we all going out but we are going to make good choces and stay on track.
So DAY 1 has been great so far. Feeling energized and ready to go!!!

Hey Courtney, it is great to have your family and friends behind you, lucky you!! My gym has a kick boxing class that I would love to try but it is only offered Wednesday nights at 7pm and I work until 7. Will have to get me a few DVDs and try it at home. Hope you had a fun night out

Hey chicas! Hows eveyone doing??? Great I hope!!!
Today was a slow start for me. Just felt blah and not up for the gym, whic his VERY unlike me. Despite feeling that way I got to the gym this monring and got first training day done and some good cardio. So feeling good about that.
Had guests this weekend so im getting extra calories burned by cleaning house after them all....lol. Super clean day for sure! Plus laundry....so getting it all done so I wont have to worry over it all week. Almost done.
I ended up having some cheats yesterday so im feeling a bit bloated this morning. So im keeping my carbs down a bit today to get rid of the extra water, but should be back on track tomorrow. Energy will hopefully be back up tomorrw.
Well eveyone have a great eveining!!!
