Thanks for the support guys, u all are awesome...
Yes the hardest part is getting started...I've been working out pretty much 5 days a week for a little over a year now and have committed to making the right choices where my eating habits are concerned...I'm at the point where working out is a part of my daily routine and I feel like I'm missing something when I miss one of my work days....and yes, that is a good thing to actually want to be at the gym. There are some days when I have to give myself "the talk" to get out of bed to go but who like getting up at 5:00 AM? lol I am trying to keep it as interesting as possible so that I don't get bored, I do a little of everything. I do some martial arts, dance, run and weights. Right now I've increased my work outs to two times a day karate or cardio in the mornings two evenings a week dance and the rest I do weights.
It's starting to become second nature:

I just had a MAJOR reality check.....a friend of mine asked me to put some photos on her flash drive and she had some old photos of us on there OMG!!!! wish I could post all the photos on here....I know that I've lost weight but when I see the photos side by side it's really starting to hit me exactly where I was.....Has this happened to anyone else?

Looking at the pics and seeing the progress you have made must make you feel wonderful!!!! I on the other hand look at pics a few years ago of me and see how much weight I have put on. Either way, the pics will give us the motivation to get us to our goal weight & conditioning.
You are amazing and your achievements give me positive vibes ~~~ Thanks

Hey Miss Belize! Can you send some of your sunshine my way here in snowy Canada?? We sure could use some!
Awesome job with your achievements thus far! WE have alot in common. I too have been training hard and conisistently. Its just been in the past 4 or 5 months where I haven't been on target with eating right. And thats more where my problem lies. I have no problem with my workouts, its more eating right and enough of the right foods. So that is what this challenge is really all about for me. RE-training myself to eat properly, cleanly and at the right times. So lets stick together chica!!
have a great weekend!
~Piera~

yesterday was a good day for me with my work out:
Squat weight increase!!!!: (Yeah!!!)
1. I increased from 90lbs to 140lbs (yes I realize that it was only (2) 25lbs plates but, it was
an improvement- I've only been doing squats for 4wks now)
2. It was Friday evening and I still went to the gym- YEAH!
Not such a good day at the gym:
I got distracted and almost caused someone to get hurt:
was replacing the plates for the poor guy to start his squats and someone asked me a question and for some reason I stated talking to her and completely forgot to increase the weight and only replaced the plates that I took off----NOT GOOD luckily he had someone there to spot him so he didn't get hurt ..too badly, I couldn't even look at him for the next ten minutes, I felt SO bad because I know better. He was cool about it after a while though...he even spotted me through my last set... my guys r the best!

Way to go girl on the workouts!! 3 full pull ups!!! thats awesome, I haven't attempted any without the assisted machine yet, so that is my ultimate goal before the summer comes!
and those squats!!! I love it! You are on the way to amazing changes. Have you felt any already?? For some reason, I kinda feel tighter and stronger, and I know for me the reduction in salt has helped enormously! keep it up! have a great sunday!

Nice work on the squat increase and the pullups, those pullups suck while you do them but when done you feel so good, like 'wow, I did it'! They go away if you don't keep them up!
You can also get tickers at tickerfactory.com, they have so many choices and I have seen some nice creations from there.
Keep up the great work, I like to be able to be kept right up to date on your progress and undertakings so keep up the great journaling.
