Default FL- Day 1 of my challenge

Thanks Linda for chosing me to do the 30 day fat loss challenge!! I'm up for it. I am currently one of those last 10-15 pound peoples!! It am going full force with this challenge and am GOING to lose 10 pounds at least. Today is my first day and I loved my workout, it was great. Also, did the interval cardio and sweat my face off. Day 1 diet is great so far!! Good luck to everyone!! Also does anyone know how to put the ticker on here???

Okay, I'm still not sure if I have figured this out yet. I will just keep posting reply's on my own thread? oh well, carry on. So here I am at day 4 and feeling great!! Day 1 was good and at dinner it was a bit hard because we had people over but I did it and ate what was on my fat loss plan .woohoo!! My workout was great too, loved the change. day 2, Sunday, went well, Got up early to do my cardio. Did 15 minutes on 3 different peices of equip. doing intervals, was awesome. My eating went as planned which was great. Just having a hard time remembering to drink all the water!!! I could go all day without having any! not good. Day 3 Monday was a bit harder, it seemed anything I needed was being used by someone, so that was a bit frustrating but made it work anyway. It was a good wokout. cardio went well just stayed on the stairmaster for 40 minutes. I prepared all my food today ahead of time which saved me cause we were on the go. Today was a great day, better on the water wagon, had lots so far and my eating is as scheduled. I love getting to eat so often!! That's my favorite. I did a weighted vest and running today for cardio, it just about killed me!! It was awesome, I loved it!! I highly recommend using a vest, it's amazing how much harder cardio is with that extra weight on. Feel tired now, can't wait for bed!! Gotta go and get all my food ready for tomorrow........

Hi there, I don't think I have met you yet...lol, I'm also a 10-15 lbs loser...haha, sounds like you are doing great...that's awesome!! I bought 2 - 1.5 liter bottles of water and that way I can keep track of my water intake easier, once those 2 are empty I know I've reach my intake for the day, I find it easier then drinking little bottles or glasses of water.
Anyway, have a great week and keep your momentum going, we are going to do great!!

I think I'll do the same for the water cause it sure sounds a lot easier than trying to remember. Yes I am a 10-15 pound loser too (haahhaa), I went cardio crazy this morning and did intervals on the elliptical for 50 minutes, ended up burning 610 calories, woohoo!! Maybe that'll give my fat a jolt! good luck to you as well, your on the right track just being here...

Did cardio this morning, kicked butt on intervals with elliptical...610 cals!! yay! Had my trusty oatmeal and I'm ready to go. Have a busy day so will pack my food and see how it goes....will post rest later

Was a challenging day with it being so busy but I managed. Got my hair done and left my water in the car!!!!ugh!!! Didn't realize it until it was too late. Luckily I remembered my protein shake (in place of turkey cause I thought it would be easier to drink it while sitting in the hair chair!!)and my veggies.So I was getting some water... As soon as I got out of there, 2 1/2 hrs later, I drank a bunch of h2o and did fine the rest of the day. It's all good. Had a bit of a headache all day, I guess due to the lack of carbs? But overall, a pretty good day. How is everyone else doing so far??

Okay, late yesterday I cheated!!! I had my little ones birthday party and there were hot dogs and chips and doritos and everything!!!! So finally after fighting with my temptations for so long, I gave in andI snuck half a hot dog (without the bun) and a handful of doritos. I was sooooo dissapointed with myself but at the same time, it tasted so good. So got up this morning and ready to go with a new day no cheats. Had my good breaky this morning and will follow the rest of my meal plan today.

Today started out fabulous.... after I dragged my lazy butt out of bed (have been up with sick child). I got to the gym and did my cardio intervals and felt so great when done!! Had to improvise with my breaky so instead of having protein pancakes I had chicken breast, it was good. Have been drinking my h2o so I'm happy about that. The last few days have gone very well, I find with planning ahead and packing my food it's really easy to stick with the program, it's great. My workouts have mostly been done in the early morning (with the odd one in early afternoon). Awesome workouts, Linda's done a great job with mixing it up and doing intervals etc, love it. Although I must say that some of them just about kill me!!! It's hard to do but when it's done, you feel so great. So, we are leaving for california tomorrow and I have made up my meal plans and workout plans to take with me and do while i'm there. My goal was to lose at least 10 pounds on this fat loss challenge and so far have lost 4, so I will keep it going while gone, cause I CAN DO IT!! I have called ahead to see what I can use for cardio and weights and have adjusted my workouts accordingly. Will be nice to workout within the palm trees and sunshine.

I am sooooooo jealous!!! Sunshine and palm trees, ooohhh it sounds so nice.
It is great that you have planned ahead and will still be able to keep up your training, good for you. With that kind of dedication and mind set, you will reach your goals for sure.

I am doing something wrong here I think. I posted a few days ago in my journal a whole page and nothing is showing here!!!! It was titled FL-we made it Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong??

I am here!!! After a week in Palm Springs we are leaving today to go to San Diego. The time has gone soooo quickly. I have not had access to a computer for the last week due to travelling etc. which sucked. I am down to the last 8 days of my challenge and feeling really good. I look forward to seeing my results as I have not weighed myself since the first week (on purpose). I lost 4 pounds in that week and my goal is at least 10 pounds total so we shall see!!!! My diet has been going well and had to have my cheat days early due to travelling. I think I did really good having a portion of protein with a salad or a peice of fruit. no bread no pasta, nothing like that so maybe cheats aren't so bad?? I find that I am always thinking about what I am putting in my mouth since starting this challenge which has worked out well. It's amazing to think of what I was eating!!! So, I missed my 2 days of cheats and just followed the days that I actually cheated on, it worked okay!! I have been drinking my h2o like crazy which is really good for me!! thats such a weak spot for me!! As far as my workouts, I have had to adjust them to be the "home" ones as I do not have access to a gym here. It has worked out well and been quite a challenge. I've never done home workouts before. A few days back I had to do the step ups on the picnic bench and talk about a workout!!! My calves are still killing me!!! for cardio I have been running and one day was rollerblading so it's been great. I love running here within all of these palm trees and sunshine everyday, very hard to take. It gets very hot so I have to do it early. Speaking of that Ishould get going now as it is 7 a.m. and the sun is coming out!! This is my usual workout time here. Gotta enjoy the last day!!! will post again in the next few days as soon as I can get on a computer.........cheers and good luck to everyone

Hats off to you girl!!! Traveling and still staying strong!!!! I am so jealous, I have to be careful just walking outside as there is still a lot of snow and icy patches, what I would give to be running on the beach. I think I'm gonna go buy me some sunless tanning lotion so I don't frighten anyone with my final pics. People will think they are looking at a ghost lol
