Great session today, weak on those pullups from time off but I assisted them with feet, also did an extra 30 mins cardio waiting fora client, did a tan too and man that felt good as it was cold today.
diet was a bit low in cals yesterday, it will take a few days of training I guess to get that appetite up - also eating clean means more food had to be eaten to get my cals so…….
So I am thinking of doing a shoot maybe this weekend in my off season state, a soft sexy shoot so any suggestions for what types of look or shots or themes my site members want, do let me know, time to fill up the gallery with more pics for the lindacusmano.com site members. I think I will go with busty booty shots since I have full booty being off season so I should shoot before the boobs/butt shrinks
I am slated to do a phone interview with Jack radio this Sunday, that should be exciting!
so far so good with the ripped freak, taking greens 1 too so if the veggies seem low in my diet, its because I have the greens drink and I don’t have that on fitday - not concerned due to the fact the cals are so low, fat is none, carbs are low as is protein, its more about the other nutrients so…….
I start breakdance on Friday for 6 weeks and Hip hop drop ins for Sundays so I get 11 drops to take as I please over the next few months. I don’t really NEED dance lessons but do need to keep moving for my back and not sure what my back is going to be cool with so for brush up I am going to do these classes plus you can always learn something new. Natasha Gorie is doing the hip hop and she has a very impressive resume having worked with some very big named artists on their videos etc as well as having performed in videos etc herself and on tour so I am going to take advantage of this.
Now to get my heavy bag up so I can start kickboxing again and see what my back has to say. I stretched yesterday and did extended split work but today was I tight, I just barely got my splits and my back complained a bit so its good I got the extra cardio in to really lube up the back bones.
til tomorrow! I train at home tomorrw…….may or may not do yoga today.
Linda

Hey, let us know what time you're on....maybe I can pick it up on-line! How exciting indeed!
Super that you've got all this access to some top names in the industry to give you MORE! It must be quite the rush prepping and planning for your competitions huh?! Sounds like so much fun.....stress too, I'm sure. Maybe in my next life....or maybe I can plan for the grand masters division, lol (JK)
Awesome as usual.....I'm soooooo glad you're back on the boards!! Keeps me motivated too!

immunology and breath
Well I am down 9 lbs now from 2 weeks ago. I had weighed in at 132lb on Jan 30th, I began increasing water last Thursday and immediately dropped 3 lbs right there over 4 days, so as of today I am at 124lb. I am not too worried about losing lbs now……I want to fill muscle and drop bodyfat. I have trained 2 days (mon/tues) and am off today.
I had to stop all my meds for an allergy test I am in for today so for the past 24 hours the asthma has been unruly.
I was unable to eat well, when you cannot breath right you tend to not want to chew or close the mouth, since my nose is swollen shut more so than not - I had to struggle to get 1200 or so cals in on Mon and Tues and with no meds I just am not hungry or interested so today I just cannot train, I can feel just moving around is hard right now on my breath.
Later this afternoon I can resume my meds so then I won’t feel like I am in a airlocked room running out of air. I want to resume things - its been going so well the past 2 days back.
Maybe if I feel better soon enough, I can get something in after my meds, try to eat more and train……depends on how long it takes to recover to normal, it may take overnight.
I am getting pretty pumped for Nationals even knowing I am always going to be one of the minority. Makes me want to work harder, at least at this point til show, then if I place low I get bitchy and begin thinking I may need to join the majority but I guess that is the normal athlete roller coaster train of thought for most athletes, numbers/trophies don’t lie and although certain things are frowned upon on sport……when you excel they reward you, they just don’t want to know the truth about why the athlete did so well………..what a cycle hey???

I hope you feel better soon. DH has severe allergies/asthma and nasal polyps on top of things......I hear ya when you say you don't feel like eating much when you can't breathe.
I've got alot of allergies too, mostly environmental stuff.....allergic asthma, meaning I'll wheeze for certain allergens and for a while was able to go w/o any meds....but in the past 2yrs I have found myself having to take my meds every day....or else! funny though, Since I've resumed meds, I don't get hit by colds too often at all.....touch wood, lol!!
Sucks when you start getting back in your groove and you have to take the sidelines, even just for a day.....but just hink how much MORE resolved you are gonna be tomorrow!

what a horrible experience, and funny thing is it was not bad like when I was a kid but being better than that the past 20 years, then feeling off at all, even an iota and I noticed, I guess I never want to go through what I did as a kid so I get freaky when i go downhill at all.
I was simply crawling in my skin yesterday, nauseated all day, even still a bit today. I at 5 saltines and 2 of the 100 cal 7ups.....oh and a white bun, that was all I could do all day, I managed half a veg soup, which was like 1/2 cup worth, and a tiny dinner roll early in the day and I was so full and nauseated all day after that, so to hold my food was my priority. I took the day off yesterday too, I was useless, I am lucky I had not booked any more clients after the morning.
So, the verdict - I can slowly try eggs and chicken again......problem, I am a yolk lover, at least I was back before 93, have not had any since and am scared a bit. excited though, but scared. Grass and pollens were the worst, big ass large hive......then dust.........next was dog, of which I have 2......then cat, the egg was slight as were most others. No probs with fish, shrimp, nuts.....THANK YOU GOD! A girl has to get protein from somewhere and lord knows I am gagging down those fricken cream type shakes and don't do much better with the whey coolers.......I wish I could get 40 gm of protein in a pill!
oh and he gave me a nose spray, I had tried them all, the make me gag and did nothing but I said I would try, so I did one yesterday in the dr. office................I can breath through my nose!!!!! more so than not!!!!!! ITS FRICKEN WEIRD!!!! SOOO NOT USED TO THIS. Its great, I was breathing through my nose all night, used half the tissues I normally do and still today am 50% if not more, better than before I tried this nose thing......I can post the name later, not familiar with it, but its an allergy one I am sure, not a typical one you can get, it has to be prescribed.
I trained today and did okay but was nauseated the whole time, a bit light headed too, lack of food the past few days. BUT I CAN BREATH, I CAN BREATH!!!!!!! IF i can breath with my nose, you get more oxygen efficiently by nose breathing so this may related into better training, maybe I was nauseated because of all the extra oxygen I am now getting and not used to??????
Now I am going to go see a naturapath in the next month or so......still have to pick one etc.
As for my back, well my left ass cheek is sore pretty much 24 hrs per day, the degree of pain varies though so I guess with all the work I have done, this is as good as it may get although I am still working on it. They won't give me an MRI until I get numbing in my legs, or I can pay about $800 or so to do one myself. How much will it tell me??? really??? toward healing or helping????
things have been quiet more or less with my mom, if she is binging, its been quieter than usual so thats good. I just don't want to find her dead one morning.
Ripped Freak:
Still on this, only got one in yesterday and that was all I could take from any supps. I take a bowl full each day so yesterday I missed them all but the one RF.
I am now 124/125lbs and do not want to get much lighter. I want to lean to drop some of that weight in fat but then gain it back in muscle so I don't want to see the scale move much more now for a few months. But to lose 10 lbs in under 2 weeks is crazy, barely any work, I did 3 days of training total with minimal attention to diet, but an increase in water.............bang 10lbs off! No cream in coffee, much less pop and better food choices by the slightest make a huge diff and I think the Ripped Freak had a huge hand in it, and being green tea based, I am thrilled. It gets me a bit revved but no shakes, no other issues - oh I do feel warm spells but not like hot flashes, I just feel the metabolism rev up.
I am not sure if I am going to bother with my nox stack any more.....I will try it a few more times but with my tummy so easily bothered, its hard to take so much in, in such a short period each morning and with my timing, thats how it goes and I rather not get sick to my tummy with all that liqiud, so that would be the first I drop. I like creatine better, alot better and am not on it yet, waiting for my pvl shipment. I know it will help.

Maybe you were feeling so nauseas from all of the allergic reactions.....how often are we ever exposed to that many allergens in one sitting? Glad you are feeling better now......and can breathe again, and through your nose too!! Hubs uses Nasocort for his nose spray....without it he'd be totally stuffed up all the time.

Okay I am thinking I need to back off on my supplements. I have had non stop days of headaches and nausea and its either the whey, greens, bcaa or fat burner.
I have used these without issues too but I think the amounts and timing may have to be altered in order for me to tolerate them. My concern is my appetite is tiny, even training again, its not picking up and I have been fighting to keep my supps down and food, and have not been able to eat enough. I want to take the supps because I am so limited in the proteins I take in and am concerned about making sure I get enough but you cannot argue with what is happening to me, my body is definitely sending me a huge signal. BCAAs are something new... but they have not always made me feel nausea, or so I don't think. Oh well, I am going to back off and try smaller doses and with meals, even so many say empty, my tummy cannot take it I suppose so lets try that and if not, then i will have to eliminate some of these things from diet.
I have been basically living off saltines and 7up on many days, thats just not acceptable.

Can I make a suggestion...
Stop them all, when you feel normal again add each on a three day interval, you may be able to isolate the cause or combination that's not working for you...Lets us know how you do!!!

I agree with A1! Maybe you'll be able to source out if the problem is due to supp's or just life in general wearing you......best wishes, and keep us posted. (hugs)

The nasal spray did it!
OMG, it was the nasal spray. I found out all those side effects I was feeling were from this new thing I got from the allergist.............its been almost 2 weeks and I did not even take the number of day doses I was told to!
So maybe the supplements had no bearing...........I am going to get back on them slowly this week and see how it goes. I had been on them for 2 days or so before this nasal spray and it was fine so I think it will be fine now.
Many, just a bit over 6 mths left before nationals and here I am screwing around with poison! Okay I am going to wing my weights and training for now, no plan. I will post as I go. The previous plan would have been done by now and I only got in a week of it or so.
I am not going to worry too much about diet logging right now or food plan because although I stopped the spray last Thursday, I am still detoxing off this crap, I cannot believe it!
I am still touchy, or my tummy and head is so I have done the best I can but for a while had to stick with brat type foods, white foods like toast, potatos, yogurt.
I did get some calories in though and am able to get 5 meals on avg in per day so its a start. I ended up gaining weight back though, I guess the rebound. I know it will drop off again but just goes to show you......I weigh in at 128 ish now so am 4-6lbs up but not a biggie. I am much more concerned about some consistent lifting right now to build the nice full look for when it is time to lean down.
Summer is creeping in and its great, I love the heat and the sun, I even don't mind the warm sprinkles but this month has been dry for us.
Still working on the wordpress idea here so I can post on the fly, more often and with pics etc and hoping I can link it to my other 2 blogs for ease.
My music is getting done, I have had to postpone dance class but need to get moving again so that is on the mind too.
Work has been great, no complaints there.
I have a girl prepping now for a show in just over a month. The season has begun.....and boy did this past few months speed by......but for those aware....time is speeding up.

Its nice to be back from the DEAD!
wow, its amazing how a simple chemical can slowly KILL you............I swear it was horrible but anyway, its over. I trained today, did day one of my program which I was going to ditch....teehee, took a few exercises from it and them modified it but was feeling me again, I even did a bit of routine planning, which is basicaly me standing around moving my hands and arms doing immitation minimals of movements I want to throw in so instead of a cartwheel I roll my arms or whatever so to others I look a bit nuts.......I also need some bollywood moves.......I do not do them justice so I did some wavey moves and then pop into a handstand to see if I can get that popping handstand leg switch those breakers get........
felt good and did not hurt so that was like a sigh of relief. I am afraid to jump, gotta start though......this pain has been causing me to not take off into my movements as carefree as I used to in fear of pain.......not good but I will get over it once I feel out which moves to use. I would love to get my aerial again, I may try but it is a hard take off form the leg where most of the pain sits in the glute from my back disc, then you whip the other leg up and over which is all hard on the back/glute so we will see, seems I never really know what I can or cannot do lately, temperamental injury.
I may see if they get a progressive beginner hip hop.....I don't know about dropping in a class where people have been going and all know each other and know the stuff, maybe I will.......I don't know- its an open class....I can try one. I used to be confident to be able to do that but now I never know what my back/glute will let me do and I do not want to look feeble.
