Thanks for your comments guys
Raij it's ok, I usually commandeer my equipment ok, it's a bit rude o me to bag 2-3 peices of equipment but I'm usually pretty quick so I dont feel so bad. There are always cardio machines available or like you said I could even just jog on the spot, but that hasnt been an issue
Except for that day, and she knew what she was doing and just being plain old rude!
well I wouldnt call it 'not seeing results yet' you can tell by my pics it was working in the first 2 weeks, but these next two I've seen nothing. but then again, I had real shoulders this morning. Like real ones like the ladies have on stage, but that may have been for 3 reasons
#1 I did a 'boxing' cardio class last night
#2 I tried a sample of this NO Shotgun Suppliment
#3 I woke up staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarving at about 3:00am and ate half a protein bar - which had simple carbs in it
but theres something else, I think I might just be losing fat in really retarded spots - for example, the bit where my legs join my torso is getting real hard and bumpy, and veiny! and where my quads join my knees is getting hard, but the butt and hamstrings are still pillow soft?
Oh well, I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see how I go. I"m getting up there regardless so I may as well keep putting in all this effort, it would be nice to be inspired with results but that's not the main goal
I definitely couldn't go at any higher an intensity than I am at the moment though!
Option1 you dont have to disclaim you're not an expert! Thats a really awesome idea though, you're probably right. But about the scales - is it really possible to be eating this little and yet putting on muscle? I guess my diet is like 62% protein atm.
Thanks Toonces! I dont have monthly ladies problems though, but maybe I do still hold more water at different times? I dont really know how I work hormone wise - I figured it was pretty well always the same like a man! but maybe not
I'll put some more pics up for you this weekend even if I still havent made any progress ok?

GG, you know, even the pros have trouble with the hammies and butt sometimes. Troy Alves is a pro bber and he is notorious for not having hardness in these areas despite being chiseled everywhere else. Don't sweat it. You are doing fine.

Hey geeg, I'm currently trying NO Shotgun and will guess that your shoulders are probably not due to your sampling this product. It doesn't seem to produce great pumps for me, although your body may react differently.
Keep up the intensity! You're going to be more awesomer than ever!

How about this; I saw a womens ice hockey coach using this to develop ham and glute strength for more "Push" on the ice. Might help you. It requires alot of balance and very little weight.
You stand on the bottom step of a staircase (she was using the bleachers in the rink) withthe heals and arches on the step but the balls and toes extend out over the step. She started with some girls at just 10 pounds, 5 pounds in each hand. The motion is a very deep toe touch but you actually reach beyond the toes with the knees locked and arms always extended to the floor. Now you raise your shoulders in as much of an arc as possible, don't bend in the back you really want to isolate the butt and hams. For the first couple of weeks there were tears but gradually you could see better flexibility and as the weight went up the girls started to develop hams. Anyway, thought it might help.

oh ok! So I should assume it's not going to budge til the last stint? I wonder how other ladies manage to have year round small butts!
Hey Tidal! Thank for that ^_^ I'm realllllly loving all this new intensity! The ability to push yourself that little bit harder really makes you feel like you've achieved a new goal every day! and cause I'm friends with everyone at the gym it's like having a hundred trainers, they all wouldnt let me slow down ever! I put the corsstrainer up a little too heavy and started kinda slowly (its real hard to push those things down sometimes!) and a lady next to me was all "coome ooon! Think of the comp!!"
heheh cute
Then when I go to the bathrooms they're all "wow you work hard!" and now I'm starting to get compliments everywhere about my arms and abs mainly So I *must* be progressing, it's just that I'm looking at myself every day I guess hey?
So you reckon NO Shotgun doesnt do anything? Maybe it did because I never really take suppliments so I'm more likely to be affected? I did only have two sips though but I highly doubt those shoulders were all my own! otherwise I'm starting to look like a figure model! hahah
Thanks for that A1 It sorta sounds like a straight leg deadlift? is that right? Cause Raijins making me do those weighted one leg at a time. It's death! hehe
anyway I'm having more of a problem with losing fat in that area, if you poke it there is a fair bit of muscle under there. I poke it a lot. It's fun! :P
I do think it might be a place where I like to store water too, so it might be one of those things that miraculously goes away if you do the peaking thing proper-like.
I had a high carb day yesterday, I ran outta fish (doh) and thought I'd eat half a protein bar in its place but unfortunately it reaaaaaaaaaaly didnt agree with me. My tummy got all bloaty and acidic (I think it's the kind of fake sugar they put in it) and so I thought with the relief dry crackery things bring me I might as well have a night where I could have evening carbs and the night off cardio. I ended up getting like a chicken wrap with spinach and sundried matoes and got it toasted. It was AWESOME. I'm unfortunately holding water like a biartch today though and I really have to do some photos this weekend so water water water!
I also had to remember out loud that I am doing this because I love it, and I'm excited about it and I want to have fun and do things I love - what would i be doing otherwise? NOTHING! I think I forgot that for a minute there when I was obsessing over results. Results really arent what this is about for me. It's proving myself wrong that I can do this! I still have competitors up on that unclimable pedastool so I have to honestly give myself cred if I make it there, but I'm so subconciously desperate to prove that I'm not good enough. That is where the main battle is here. No matter what happens over the next 9 weeks I will be getting on stage. And I'm really looking forward to how it changes my outlook on other things!
I just hired a new receptionist too, so I'm going to be working really closely with her. Hopefully having a new youngling will help me with my confidence and self worth.
Just 9 more weeks and I've broken the curse!

Cute......I really get the 'why' of all this Geeg, in what you are saying.......it's not about the prize (though it would be super fantastico!!!), it's more about the journey of getting there and what you learn about yourself along the way.......
I had a similar drive a few years back (well more than a few now, lol!!) For me it was learning to whitewater kayak.....a week long trip with a group of other's from all over the continent.....I needed to do it solo, none of my friends or knowns with me.......was a rush!! I came back battered and bruised from rolling soooooo very many times, but I learned so much about myself too.....
You'll be fine, and yes us ladies do tend to hold on to fats on the backside of our lower bodies the longest it seems.......hang tuff, and be patient........enjoy the ride!!

Well, I usually don't reckon, because it makes a wreck of of you and Kon. Seriously though, I doubt that two sips of any pre-workout supp would produce a visible effect. If so, I want some of the aussie formula shipped to this hemisphere! You probably are starting to look like a ripped figure model! Check your shoulders before and after a workout as well to get an idea of how much a pump affects you. Obviously, competitors 'pump up' backstage before performing, but I've read that pumping elicits a greater response in some than in others. Either way, you're making visible progress!

Hmm, I took pics and am still really disspointed with the results but still! I dont mind might be time to take the rice out though! and I'll do a class each weeknight so it will be interval training plus and hour of cardio, next week maybe I'll add in an extra 30 mins cardio in the mornings if nothings moving still. 9 weeks out already!
I'll chuck the pics up in a sec

I agree with Wil. Your delts are coming along nicely.
Leanness is showing well too. Your serratus intensifies your overall look!

Thanks guys! You are so sweet! I thought you were making up words to make me feel better Tidal! haha
I had to look it up :P
Thanks so much. I feel like I may as well have been sitting on my ass eating burgers for the last two weeks but it's obvious something gotta change. I've taken out the rice and added veggies earlier in the day. I also spoke to another girl who is training for this comp, and she is doing 2 x 45 min cardio sessions a day PLUS weight training, so I'm gonna start adding the extra 30 minutes in the morning, plus whatever I can fit in before the 5:30 class in the evenings.

hehe superior! you are the cutest !
Well I had a couple of hard days where I couldnt see the point in training so hard when i wasnt getting anywhere anyway, but lots of people told me that your brain does that sort of stuff to you. I think my case is a bit stronger on accounta not wanting to make it and all that but you guys are all such a great support team!
I'm back into it hard now, I've added a bit more cardio and taken out some carbs and the results are undeniable even though I am losing no weight. its still just all coming off my torso and arms, the dent between the bum and hamstring is coming and my quads seem to be tightning from teh knees up but I can still grab chunks of fat from my butt sides and thighs, I guess it's coming off everywhere before hand.
I'm getting quite cut everywhere else though, my forearms and bis are becoming really veinny and you can actually tell I have shoulders! I think I may have put on size on them and my calves but its hard to tell if its less fat or more muscle, I guess the scales not moving means a bit of both. More muscle is cool though, you get to keep that forever, and you dont get to keep the extreme leanness - so I'll take the muscle!
I got talking with a girl from the posing class, its really good talking to someone else whos finding it tough its good when you talk about it too cause it gets you amped. I sent a progress pic around to RL people (omg) and people said that I already look more conditioned than other people they've seen compete before so as far as I'm concerned any progress I make from here is just a bonus, and I have more than 8 weeks left and tanning AND water to do. AND I'm flat from no carbs.
I have a 6 pack when I laugh now. I almost cried when I saw it!
Of course... it doesnt take much at the moment :P
Thanks for all of your support everyone!! I cant wait to beat this head game! hehe

woops!
died in the ass last night, I fell asleep at about 7 - no evening cardio! and when I woke up I was SO achy and famished. I had some carbs (in the form of brown rice) and also some prawns and protein.
and crap loads of water.
TIME TO ADD THE CARBS BACK IN IN THE MORNING!
8 weeks to go tomorrow!
OOOOO OOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO guess what!
More people I dont know at the gym are coming up to me and telling me that my abs and/or arms are starting to look kick ass!
Weeeird that theres still no movement on the scales though hey!
