Indoor running   #2015

Hey ppl

If you run alot indoors on treadmills, and find your prone to anterior tibialis pain ( shin splints) try putting the treadmill on an incliune of 1.5 to 2.5 %. The incline should help to alleviate or at least lessen the pain, and it shouldn't affect your performance much at all.

power walking...no....10% grade sure....running is always going to be more effective than walking...if you can walk at 10% grade, but run at 7%, i would choose 7, and run for 20 minutes, instead of waliing for up to an hour

Do u think running is better for burning fat?

I was under the impression that walking briskly on an incline was better than running for burning fat, and saving muscle.
