if anyone knows how to "borrow" an apparently streamed .asf or .asx file and convert to another format (wmv, mpeg) then we're in business... and if anyone tells me this should be in another thread like the help thread, i've attached another fd set

okay, cross your fingers, hope this works: it's about half of a larger clip. please tell me if you can view it. if so, tell me how the quality is. if not, try renaming it to .asf file (it should be a .wmv file). the clip's called "red bed". i hope you enjoy it.

for me it stops playing sometimes then continues but its good because i can view it
